not for long! I'm closing on a house on april12th, then my weekends will no longer be my own.
Took about 5 min from tip to tail. That's why God created Microsoft excel. A lot faster than light-brite.

Stafford will have a better career than Tebow, and he plays for the Lions. Had to bring a Georgia guy into the picture somehow.

Peen was referring to us mere mortals when he said there was no way to tell how good a player will be...

Yeah like when he was all over Holcumb and Anderson's jock???..lol.
I think all of us get selective memory when it comes to who and who we have not been a fan of.
Take me for instance, I wanted Joe number 1 in 07...........but the flip side of that is I had Quinn number 2 on my board..lol.....you win some you lose some.

I was a Couch fan,, still don't think he had a chance really.. thrown in after one game,,, Too soon considering we had nothing in the way of a supporting cast...
that was all PR.. not football thinking.
Ahh, in the end, it might have worked out the same way if they would have given him time to develop..

Wow indeed. I'm not even irritated about that, though. Kind of impressed to be honest.

I just don't see us bundling picks to move up for any QB, other than Bradford.
If Bradford is the best prospect in the draft, and he's not a Jamarcus Russell or Quinn in the making, I hope we do whatever it takes to move up and get him. Screw the additional draft picks. Seriously.
QB has been holding this team back for far too long. It is the single common denominator in 11 years of futility. If this guy is the real deal, anyone who says they don't want to give up draft picks to move up and take Bradford is out of their mind.
Quite simply, a good QB is the most important ingredient to being successful in the NFL. That's #1. 2nd is a distant 2nd. From everything Holmgren has stated, I think he believes this as well.
A team becomes better with a better QB. Players that seemed mediocre become better. Schemes and coaches all look better.
Get the QB. I'm tired of watching the crappy product we call Browns football every damn week in the fall.
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

Franchise quarterbacks win Super Bowls. If you really think you have the Franchise QB, get him at all costs I say. I want us to be stingy and give us as little as possible, but if we really think Sam is the man and worth the health gambles (which I really just believe in the guy for some reason. I can buy his presence and like his accuracy. The guy is every bit of coachable, talented, and smart. What not to like?) then we have to spend picks to get him. So be it if deemed necessary I say. I want QB solved. The sooner that element is picked up the sooner we have a championship caliber offense.

but...but...all a QB needs is a pro bowl running game, pro bowl receivers and a pro bowl OL and he'll be amazing! it's never the QB! it's the people around him! *OBVIOUS sarcasm*

Why do people love to bash the kids faith? To me that's immature and ignorant.

It's not about trashing the kid's faith. It's about how the press have jammed him down our throats as being this "great guy" . Along with statements like, "even spending just moments with him will make you a better person". This garbage gets old after awhile and grates on those of us that see him as an average QB that played in a system not anything close what's being used in the NFL. The never ending love of Tebow is like worshiping an idol for some people. The press has raised him to this perfect Christ like figure. I think he's an Eric Crouch waiting to happen.

That's not bashing his faith. That's bashing Ammo who consistently calls him that.

I remember a lot of people (myself included) who thought that Quinn and Frye would never do anything with the Browns.
What did they do with the Browns? I'm glad they're both gone.
The difference between Quinn and Tebow, I've seen Quinn play awful NFL football.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

All I know is I'm really tired of going to a game and shaking my head at halftime saying, "Jesus, here we go again".......... Whoever stops that has my full support.

Which makes zero sense to me because I'm not bashing his faith. His character is one of his biggest qualities as an athlete.

No one said you were bashing his faith. It's your constant over-use of that cliche that puts everyone off. I don't believe I've read anywhere on this site where anyone has questioned his character, so that's a non-issue. It's the 45 minutes he takes to wind up and throw a football and the fact he looked like total and undeniable crap in the Senior Bowl when having to drop back like a normal quarterback, that people question.

So you are saying that he's not a great guy? do you know something that the rest of us don't?
Or
Is it that you don't like having that shoved down thier throat? And if that's the case, why blame the kid? He's just being himself,, blame the press...
Just sayin,, it's immature to name call the kid..
