Give me a break! A puppy is VERY different from food meat. We are meat as well...would it be okay to bake a baby to death if you ate it?

There are plenty of countries where dogs are looked at as delicious.

I think your point is a fairly good argument---IF you want to over-analyze the food industry. Equating one act to the other though, leaves some doubt about judgement.

So, I'm just saying that dog meat and food meat are pretty much one in the same if you dismiss the social taboo.
But for the record, these teens were just being evil little punks.

So what is your point? You are trying to equate putting a live puppy in an oven with me eating meat? Give me a break. 
Oh, also, perhaps go watch discovery channel, or animal planet. Ever watch how a spider gets it's food? Yeah, a live animal gets stuck in the web, then the spider runs over and kills it while it is helplessly hanging there.
Or how about a wolf? Wolves will, in their pack, "run" an animal until it can't run anymore, then when it collapses, they will proceed to rip into it. Eating it alive.
Ever see a lion, or tiger, or hyena eat? Have you ever watched a bird pull a worm out of the ground and eat it? How about an eagle, or hawk, swooping down and digging their talons into the meaty flesh of a rabbit, or mouse, or rat?
Think humans are cruel for eating meat? Look at nature. At least humans kill their food before they eat it.

Now for my reasoning. I'm a prison guard and I see endless amounts of inmates who do stuff that get less than 10 years. Murder and get less than 10, rape involving minor children (boys and girls), Kidnapping (adults and minors) and get 5 years or less, it is an endless list that inmates get less than 10 years for crimes against people and people scream about animals.
Now I'm not condoning what they did but it was an animal, people should be more upset when killers are let go, rapist are let go, crimes against people are forgotten while people get upset about things like this.
Frenchy, you have a tough job that the average Joe would not want or could not handle............much like being a prisioner yourself at times!
Nobody likes to see anyone get off for murder, rape, or anything that brings distress to anybody.........that is a fact!
Any decent human is this country loves animals and is disgusted by any bad treatment of an amimal when it is so sickening as putting the animal to death by heat or torture.............that is just a fact!
We all know how the justice system fails at times (very often) but many people are just attached to their pets.........and care more for them then their neighbors ........often much more...........it is not a bad thing..........animals can be just as love-able as people.............sometimes even more-so! 
It is just so sad how some people can treat an innocent animal so damn bad.........it is sick!
