Since you don't like\can't root for this team any more I will give you fifty dollars for the psl. I can even gaurantee right of first refusal.

Sorry tbbd... having a real time with this one. The kid needed a break... didn't get one. I hope Denver treats him better then we did. (and the tickets will remain for sale.)

Nobody is saying they can't root for the Browns. You all need to chill out...seriously. Relax, emotions are high right now, good or bad. Just let people ride them out and we'll all come through this.

I think it will be a while before we all get through this one... Dawgchell... and they may have lost a "few" psls while they played their games with the fans. They won't see me back in the stadium that I called "home" again. Just how I feel. dawgbreath

It was me trying to be funny. I don't believe he will give up the psl or the Browns. Look I"m a little bummed about how this all went down, but, it MIGHT be better for the TEAM.

LOL, I like a good debate as well as anyone else, but when name calling and acting like spoiled brats comes into play, it's time to step in.

Not once have I ever thought that the new regime would stand pat on the mistakes of the former ones.
This is a new era, new plan and we weren't that close (especially on Offense) to being a threat in the league. Nothing will shock me and outside of 4 or 5 guys I'm not going to sweat losing any of the others.

If Quinn being the qb was the reason you were spending money on tickets, well, first of all: you aren't a Browns fan, you're a Quinn fan
how long after you typed that did you realize you were talking yang?

As much as I would love to have those seats. Please stop and re-evaluate after the draft.
Did you give up after KH took over for TC? Did you give up after VT came in for BK?
This might not be a bad thing.
If after you simmer down, you want to give away/sell tickets to a game, contact me, I'd love to go.

I am going to buy season tickets again. I lost mine due to unforseen circumstances, but I like where this is going. Sign me up!

Honestly DB.. I think you are overreacting to these moves..,
it's not like as if anybody we are getting rid of was Pro Bowl level talent.
I mean, this team hasn't won anyting for 3 years.. It's awful.
As fans, we tend to cling to various players. And when we do, it hurts when they retire, don't resign or get cut or traded. Always has, always will
But in truth, if what we have isn't winning, you have two choices as a fan,, retain your favorite players and continue to accept losing.. Or let it go.
I wish you luck in selling your ticks..but I think you will regret it at some point in the future.. I really do..

Oh No the great Brady Quinn is gone! Let us all burn down Cleveland Browns Stadium! The Browns will rue the day they rid themselves of such a talent!

Mike Holmgren didn't think Brady Quinn could succeed as the QB of the Cleveland Browns. He had to go for that reason alone. But not only that, if he was kept as a backup he would have only been a distraction because fans would be clamoring for him every time the new starter did anything wrong.
I would have like to see Brady Quinn get one more year, but I understand why the trade was made.

If the guy wishes to rid himself of his tickets what's the big deal? I didn't buy them at the 1999 return because the Policy/Clark/Palmer trio didn't do anything for me. I get his points and feel the frustration even if I personally feel different. Sounds to me if someone has the cash and the desire you better move on those things! Get the best seats in the house for the possible return to glory of the Browns!

I'm also glad you have shown your colors and decided to bail on the season ticket thing - like I did years ago.
This is one of those strange statements you make that I have absolutely no idea how to take.
On one hand you say he has "shown his colors", implying he is somehow a lesser fan because he wants to dump his tickets. Then you turn around and congratulate him for doing exactly what you did. Aye Carumba!!

Actually, DA made the pro-bowl a couple years ago. So, yeah, they did get rid of a pro-bowler. Quote:

With Peyton Hillis on board I think Lawrence Vickers is the next guy on his way out. No inside info, no stories read. Just a hunch.
Also, now that we have Peyton Hillis, can we still draft Toby Gerhart if we want? There is some sort of limit on white running backs right? Maybe we can get Gerhart to sign some sort of waiver.

a little late to the party but glad to have it. this was a fantastic move. let's just forget value for now, that we got ANYTHING for quinn is a steal, let alone a big bodied runningback to compliment harrison and a couple picks. this addresses a need because, unlike quinn, hillis actually had meaningful success in the nfl! this is a fantastic move.
as i've said all along last season, that mangini never announced quinn as a starter, despite earlier on saying he would, said tons about how mangini viewed him. no doubt MH agreed.
thanks savage. we can now thank you for...eric wright, joe thomas, and josh cribbs. maybe vickers and DQ. good job.
