I guess since I stopped posting in political threads, and arguing with arch and coachb (I still don't know the whole story with coach, someone please enlighten me), nobody knows me, except those that registered long ago.
As much as I've argued with a lot of people here (USNavyDawg), I still love this place, but there aren't a lot of discussions that I want to join in on.

As much as I've argued with a lot of people here (USNavyDawg), I still love this place, but there aren't a lot of discussions that I want to join in on.
In the end thought what got coach banned was ghosting as his own "son" and giving updates on "dad" . That is what raised suspicions and made the whole long story be investigated and unravel.

j/c. I was disappointed to hear CoachB was a fraud. He told me in a PM that he was with the Chiefs and how he got to deal with Schottenheimer. It seemed believeable...he was a backup LB and special-teamer (supposedly). I like this site better than some of the other orange-and-brown-flavored sites out there, even though I don't post as much. The members seem more open-minded and accepting of other takes, even if they don't agree with them all the time. What good would it be if everyone agreed with each other all the time? it would just get boring. there's also quite a bit of posters with automobile/automotive industry knowledge :goodcall

Evidently there was a punter or kicker in the NFL with my last name once upon a time.
Way back when I was on Facebook, I used to get "friend" requests from former players (I think Bills for some reason) that said I played football with them .......
I thought to myself ..... "Great friend if you can't remember the guy's first name". (Which is different from mine)

Yeah, I PMed him a couple of times just making sure he was ok,, after it was determined he was a fraud, I felt so betrayed.. Here I was, wishing for this guy to get better.. and he was a total fraud...

The coachb situation didn't change my natural outlook on posters.... I don't believe everything read but I never did before, either.
However, I don't sit there and go "this poster is BSing about him/herself, or "maybe that poster is a fraud."

I think it's pretty easy to tell who's legit. Especially after the amount of time most of us have posted on the boards. The Coach B thing was just strange...all the way around. If we didn't have SOME doubt in the back of our minds that he was FOS about all the things he said he knew, then I guess we deserved what we got in the end. I was surprised at how it went down, but not that it actually went down.
