I almost listed Katzenmoyer, but I checked and found out he was drafted by the Pats in '99 - the year before Chuckles Belicheck got there. He hurt his neck in 2001 and had to retire.

I do remember Belicheck haten on him because of the injury. Maybe Katz is the poster child Belicheck used to get other players to play hurt that we hear ex-Patriots complain about.

That sounds like Belicheck. Great coach (after leaving here), but as a human ... lacking, imo.

The New England Patriots select Thaddeus Gibson OLB Ohio State
Ha excuse me? I'm as big an OSU as they come but come on!
Had nothing to do with me liking Ohio Sate.
New England Needs a pass rusher BADLY
I thought about Wootton, Hardy, Misi and Sapp but in the end I chose Gibson because I like his potential. May have been a bit of a reach but you can't really blame me through the first two rounds everyone has completely obliterated my board.

Clutch is channeling Bill Belicheck ... he sees his next Mike Vrabel ... maybe. Belicheck always did have a thing for O-State LB's - remember Craig Powell?
Bill Bellicheck is already looking at him.
Along with the Browns, Bills and Steelers.
I'm not gonna guarantee it but theres a damn good chance he get's drafted in the second round. So it really isn't that big of a reach.
If you think about it with the Redskins and Bills switching to a 3-4 defense that make roughly half of the league running a 3-4 defense. I looked at every teams needs and 10 of the 15 teams running the 3-4 defense next year need outside linebackers. Then you have to factor in teams that don't run the 3-4 with needs at defensive end whether it be depth or a starter, which is 13 of the 17 teams that don't run the 3-4.
Then you have to look at all the 4-3 teams that have a need for an OLB which some of these guy's are able to do at the next lvl and you have 7 of the 17 teams that don't run a 3-4 with needs whether it be depth or a starter.
There are gonna be alot of tweeners going alot sooner than they probably should this year i'm betting.

With the insane love that Myron Rolle was getting, I am suprised (pleasantly) that he hasn't been drafted yet. I thought for sure someone would have snagged him by now.

To reply to both of you. I love Myron Rolle and thought about waiting until round three to get him, but I rate Allen as the #3 saftey behind Berry and ET. My boys told me to get secondary help in round two since I went BPA in round one. With Allen sliding it was an easy pick.

It was a solid pick, I think we just both hoped he fell just a wee bit further.

I think Rolle has the talent of a 5-6th rounder, taking in the second would have been a huge reach.

I'm suprised Jahvid Best has lasted this long. I figured someone would have snatched him up by now. Wouldn't put it past steelhack but I bet he has more pressing needs.

I see a smoke screen. I'm guessing there's a different RB that you want to see fall and I believe I can guess which one (based on how Belicheck likes to use RBs).

Don't the Steelers have half a dozen runningbacks already, they need to look at getting a Quarterback who has no accusations, and some defensive players who can tackle. On 2nd thought the Steelers need another long snapper and they should re-sign all those defenders who couldn't tackle Cribbs, Jennings.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

Hack should have taken Tebow in the 1st. Those boys need to be taken to church like the pope needs a pair of pants.

Maybe..........Maybe not.
If Hack doesn't want Best i'll take him. Unless someone wants to trade up to get him. I could use a third round pick.

The New England Patriots select Jahvid Best. Was not my first choice but I can see the value and and the possiblity of him being a outstanding back in they're offense. Quote:
