I'll take the San Fran in a new draft, they have 3 picks in the top 49
maybe we should schedule a speed mock draft, with a 3 minute or less clock per pick and if teams are unstaffed then anyone could pick for them and start it at Sunday 1 pm eastern when games usually start.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

I dont know about that.....sometimes i work on sundays......i think we should defianetly do another draft but make a 3hr window for picks......if people cant commit to that then maybe guys double up on other teams
3 min would be fun if you could get everyone together with nothing to interupt but that is asking alot....with work, fam, friends, weather getting better its next to impossible

As I said, I'm in to draft for the Falcons for the rest of this one. But I won't be in another. I've seen too many die-hards foaming at the mouth, being all impatient in the wee hours of the night. Too much pressure . . .

well i agree with what your saying and would recomend having a start and stop time also......like between 11:30pm to 6:00am no picks that way people dont get skipped, and seeings how its a freaking mock draft that has no meaning one way or another it shouldnt be a big deal.
also if we was to do another I would suggest NO TRADES......pick where your teams is slotted and deal with it this draft go confusing with all the trades that where made
also just an idea but since Deepthreat is our resident draft guru I say take him out of the mock, and put him in a mel kiper type roll where he can do a best avalible and give a quick thought on each pick that the rest of us make...of course this would have to be ok with Deep since he started his mock....i just know it would be nice to make a pick then have a discussion on why that player was chosen, how it affects that team, while we wait for the next choice to be made.

overall good ideas, though for us west coast guys, that window is 8:30pm to 3:00am.
an alternative is to let Deep draft, but if someone doesn't pick in the alloted time and no BB has been given to Deep, Deep can list 3 or 4 names and we can all vote on it, just another suggestion

If you guys want to start another mock, maybe you should start another thread.
No offense, but I would rather see some progress when I open this one.

Well we could either have deep fill in if and when that happens, or we could put that time limit on what time zone you live in, so if a guy on the east coast make his choice and its ur turn next you have untill 11:30pm ur time to make the pick...... Being rushed around sucks and we really need to chill out when it comes to peoples turns and theirs picks.........I like the idea of having kiper err I mean deepthreat make the chioce if the 3hr time limit expires as long as he doesn't have a team in the draft to avoid favoritism.
Deep would have to agree to sit out and observe and I think that would be the hard part of this equation

well considering there hasnt been any progress we are talking about what we can do on the next one to make it run more smooth......no ofense but deal with it man.....not going to start a new thread just to discuss what we could do on the next mock, just so you dont have to waste your precious time scrolling over a couple post about changes instead of imaginary picks!

Let's finish this one up, and then we can do another one with me as Kiper.
If another one is started up (I don't have the time to run the whole thing again) I will gladly take that role. Someone could even start up a new one now...

Same thing happened to me, all of the teams I wanted were taken so I picked the Titans since they annoy me less than any team left. Turns out they traded their 2nd to New England and I hadn't checked.

that should be fun for you.
anyways, we are past the 12 hour limit for this draft, so once Deep signs on for the day, he'll select for the present spot and the draft will move forward.
this thing tends to be like what friends have told me it is to be in the military. lots of waiting around, and then all of a sudden things are moving in a hurry.

This might as well go here. I did a 5 round one of these on another board, and here's what I ended up doing:
2 Cleveland - from Detroit (2-14) - Sam Bradford, QB/Oklahoma 38 Cleveland (5-11) - Kareem Jackson CB/Alabama 92 Cleveland - from New York Jets* (9-7) - Montario Hardesty RB/Tennessee 134 Cleveland - from Tampa Bay (3-13) - Mike Neal DE/Purdue 146 Cleveland - from Detroit via Denver (8-8) - Jeremy Williams WR/Tulane
Trades: Adalius Thomas OLB for Robert Royal & 5th Malcom Floyd WR + SD 4th for Shaun Rogers Bryant McFadden CB for 4th Andre Fluellen DT + #2 overall from Detriot for #7, #71, #85, #126, #160

Like the Floyd trade, Any trade involving robert Royal is hilarious, Not sure what kind of player McFadden still is, but we need DB help.

Its a shame this thing petered out like it did. Deep - thanks for setting it up and for moving it forward. I have another day full of meetings Friday, so the same BB as I sent you today is valid.

If everyone else participating is anything like me, they really only know the first 2 rounds or so well enough to draft who makes sense for teams they probably don't follow. Was fun seeing what people thought though.

I remember DT saying this was a 3 round draft. More if needed but that 3 rounds represented the knowledge of most of us.

I see people doing shotgun for a new draft. So, are we doing 3 rounds for this draft, then doing another one?

Sorry it took so long for me to get this up, guys. The Vikings select Colt McCoy, QB, Texas
I think that is a really good pick. Especially that late in the draft.

I don't know if I should or not, since I'm next, but I look at Indy's biggest needs at this point as G, C, OLB, ILB since they took DT in round 1. I think LB Daryl Washington would be a good value at 63. Thoughts?
