Here is a look at the current roster:
Jake Delhomme: Make no mistake about it. He will be the starter in 2010.Many think his best days are behind him. How old is Brett Favre? Does anyone remember George Blanda? Don't sell this guy short just yet.He could be here three more years pasing for over 3000 each year. Impossible you say? This move alone will win us 3 more games.
Seneca Wallace: Holmgren traded for this guy early this year as a back-up. As a back-up we could do worse.I'll take him over, for example, Charlie Batch.Good insurance policy.
Brett Ratliff: Throw-in on a trade. He won't be on the squad after August.
Are we a better team now? Seriously,could it get any worse? Look for a draftee to compete with Ratliff. I don't like this year's QB draft class. With Delhomme and Wallace on board, I don't see a need to REACH for a QB just yet.

Dont forget mens restroom vs. womens restroom, ticket takers, security gaurds, then a in-depth look at the grade school kids teams that play at halftime position by position

Don't listen to 'em LJ....start all the posts you want. Its not spamming...its a segmented look at different units on the squad.
Discussion boards aren;t much without discussion....so its either this or complaining about health care in tailgate lot.
As for QBs, I think they will approach it with an eye to value in the draft. When there's a quarterback available at a good value spot, they will pull the trigger, regardless of round.

from what has been said (and paid) it seems like Jake is our likely opening day starter, but Seneca definitely has some value.
it'll be interesting to see when/if we draft a QB and how they develop.

Delhomme is in Cleveland to start this year and maybe next year. Wallace is in Cleveland to backup Delhomme and come in if Delhomme doesn't recover from last year. Wallace was also brought in to help teach the new QB, whoever that is, the offense. Holmgren knows Wallace knows his role.

I can't believe this thread went this long without someone mentioning..........well I won't mention them. These are decent threads, and they sure beat Akronjoes constant mentioning of ham sandwiches
