O.K.!!! I know I never would have made it out of my driveway without shoveling. My brother in law and sister just stopped over and helped me knock it out. Had they not stopped by, my driveway would look like babe's walkway. Time for me to head to the Red Chimney for some din-din, and they have a special free chocolate mousse desert with the purchase of a hot dinner. Talking earlier to dawgylama, she said she was going to try to get out of her driveway with minimal or no shoveling...I hope she didn't get stuck, I got my car stuck just moving it a little to shovel around it.

So now that it's 5 and was almost quitting time anyway, hubby's boss finally closed up shop today (they closed at about 4:15 actually and he usually is off at 5). His department made a whopping $12, and that doesn't even pay him for one hour's work. Completely useless to be open. But that's this dealership's owner for you. If he thinks he can make a 1/2 cent, he wants to be open. Don't know why he hasn't learned that it costs more to pay the employees to be there though.

Bite me, P!  My in-laws moved to West Virgina in 1992 (or 93)...they grew up in Indiana. My M-I-L, specifically in Gary. Nerd! hee hee!

I had no concept of how much it had actually snowed since i came in yesterday eveing. There was no way I was going anywher without snow removal. It took me a little more than an hour to dig a path wide enough for the car to get through and to dig out the apron. It was a great workout and even after shoveling I had to do a bit of rocking the car to get all the way down the driveway and out into the street. If I had gotten stuck I may not have been abel to get out of the car to dig out because the path I shoveled was just wide enough for the car not for opening the doors.

 I think every muscle in my body hurts from shoveling. I can't wait unitl tomorrow when I get to hear clients bitch about how they hurt from doing the same thing.

An interesting developement from White Death Tuesday... Tuesday is our trash pick up day. They didn't pick up Tuesday (but the other company in town did!). I called to ask if they are going to pick up so I can bring it back in from the street...no, no pickup this week. I asked about a credit...no, no credit. I'll be switching companies. HA!
