I don't get into it. I liked the guy who used to start threads on all kind of weird stuff, asking crazy questions, then saying "Discuss."

Can't remember his trade name,...he was funny.

Well, Braylon may get charged for something, but odds are the whole thing would get dropped.

1,000 yard receiver for a pick who would likely get practice squaded.

They were planning to Release him, but instead got a 5th round pick. That is a smart move. IMHO Go Brownies!!!

Holmes trade isn't good news for Braylon Edwards

April 12, 2010

For the Jets, the acquisition of Santonio Holmes was a low-risk, high-reward move.

For Braylon Edwards, the move could be costly.

Edwards, like Holmes, is heading into a contract year. Adding Holmes will further divide up a relatively limited passing game pie, no matter how much Mark Sanchez improves.

More damning for Edwards is that Holmes is a similar player, but better. Sure, Edwards is more physical. But ultimately they are both vertical threats fighting for similar passes. Holmes has better hands and makes more plays after the catch.

Throw in Jerricho Cotchery and Dustin Keller to catch passes over the middle, and it's hard to see Edwards breaking 1,000 yards in 2010 for the second time in his career. 800 might be lucky.

There is also the matter of a possible long-term extension. The Jets can likely only afford to keep Holmes or Edwards. We think Holmes is the superior player, and now the Jets could play the two against each other for leverage.

Add it all up, and the chances of Edwards' modeling opportunities in NYC lasting past 2010 decreased last night.

Yo, Mac! Did the article indicate if there was still time and opportunity to get TO on the club and add to the mix before the draft. Then it would be like Floppsy, Dropsy, and Muttonhead. The media would have a smorgasbord. Then we have a place all ready when OhNo! Stinko wants his trade as well. Brayin' may not be long for the Big Apple some might say. I will wait and see, but what a menagerie they are attracting in Noo Yawk.

This is an article that is hard not to agree with as the consequences to Braylon "oops" Edwards and his quest to get Paid are severely damaged as Holmes is the far more reliable target. Maybe the Jets traded the #3 to the browns for a Braylon "rental" as he gets traded again. Who knows except the Jest no longer have to Pay Edwards.

It will definitely be hard to sign both of those guys if the cap returns. No cap, no problem.

Maybe they writer saying that is an OSU fan

If anything, having to compete with an OSU alum in a contract year should light a fire under his arse.

Let the Braylon soap opera continue.

Edwards lets thing get into his head too easy. Now having an OSU alum to compete with is only going to make things worse. We will see Edwards throw a hissy fit this year.

It doesnt matter where you hide Edwards, OSU will always find you and haunt you
