i think its 28 technical fouls during the reg season, then a 1 game suspension for every t after that. Then in the playoffs it resets, after that you can have 7 (i think) then you are suspended.

yes.

i'd love to see howard pick up 2 or 3, maybe even 4 before a possible rematch, then he's gotta bite his tongue for 7 games.

I could see it happening if they get in some close games. Howard's basketball IQ is low. I hope he thanks his lucky stars every night for his freakish size and athletic ability.

i really think charlotte is going to push them, maybe not 7, but definitely 6. larry brown knows what he's doing. steven jackson has the stones to take big shots when big shots are needed. i think the magic win but it's gonna be a frustrating series for them.i would even argue it might be tougher than atlanta..

I'm surprised a few people didn't show up in the third quarter to remind us how awful we are.

Way to finish a game guys!

Jamario, what a game! Even Mo Williams stepped it up a bit in the 2nd half. Not sure why Shaq was benched after his 4th foul though.

It looks like the Cavs can just cruise on the Bulls, they relax and let them in a bit and then close the door.

if i had to guess, probably the possibility of hack a shaq (even though he was 4/4, he's still shaq) plus i think mike was worried about the pick and roll defense.

as good as lebron was, and he was unreal in the 4th, the game actually turned as soon as he started off the 4th on the bench. the defense picked up, and the play at the other end of the floor was smart. they maintained the lead like they were supposed to, and lebron came in and finished them off.. that is great coaching and great trust by coach to hand the game over to the rest of the team. that is what winning a championship is all about, sometimes you have to just let go and have faith.

chicago played better. they didn't settle, but the cavs were just too much. i still think chicago can get a game though. thursday should be fun.

Noah may be a jerk, but man, dude can play ball. Great game tonight. I'd like to apologize to my wife for my mood swings and constant shifts in attitude.

as far as the 1v5 offense we saw in the fourth, i don't think lebron would do that this year, in these playoffs, unless he knew he was feeling it.

i have always said there is absolutely nothing wrong with doing that as long as you keep it to a minimum. it can destroy a team, it certainly did tonight. they gave up when he started draining those and i don't blame them, what can you do?

less is more though, no doubt. i like that the guys are being challenged though.

because even though most would say the cavs would beat the celtics (and i don't see miami winning) it is still going to be a testy series, and very physical.

it's like he was playing the role of bruce bowen/james posey. size up and hit your 3's and coach would love to have ya out there.

noah is still taking shots at cleveland too. after the game had more words about the city. at first it was something you were kind of offended by

now? it's just annoying and childish. i guess that's what you have to do when you can't win.

i really think the media is jumping all over this because there is nothing else going on in this series. ho hum.

and the fans at the arena gotta be more creative. the noah sucks chant isn't all that great. think up something. the guy was busted with pot. there has to be some kind of a chant there.

there was a guy with a sign that said "Noah, on your day off, go see a dentist"..i laughed. Pretty ugly game tonight, was a win, but it shouldn't be this close..we should be dominating them..Shaq was off all night and that hurt because it was obvious we were going to go to him early to set the tone, didn't work out. I love Z, but i think he just don't have much left to offer, If we had better guards you could mask Z's ugly swan, but man, mo and delonte got burned time after time after time, I liked delonte being aggressive second half, we roll when he does, I'm probably in the minority that thinks he's better than Mo, playoff mo showed up tonight, didn't do squat offensively and played his normal turnstile D. I like delonte because he can get to and finish at the rim, mo cant do it not strong enough. If he's not got the jumper working, he's a liability. I would have liked to seen JJ a little more, not understanding alot of Browns rotations, Z and Andy should never be on the floor together. I'm glad moon is getting good minutes, i was pissed jawad was getting his minutes, Jawad isn't even close to moon in overall ability. Moon has incredible leaping ability, i mean he gets off the floor so fast. I liked lebrons game tonight, didn't try to do too much or force anything until he saw that he wasn't going to get much help. It's funny watching chicago drum up this rivalry and its not even one, deng has something personal against lebron and lebron always gets the last laugh, that dunk was easily one of his top 3, and i saw it coming. They were playing up on him and I told my brother, he's going slip off that contact and go jordan on them, sure enough 3 possesions later, a poster was born. The more i watch and hear, the more I can't stand Noah, I mean dude, just shut up already, do you realize how stupid you sound. I really hope we come out thursday and just run them out of the gym, take any little piece of hope they have and embarrass them. What I like so far this year, it seems we have the luxury of guys having bad nights, because we have someone that can pick up the slack. Shaq and Jamison getting in foul trouble early hurt and I think left Brown scrambling. Once moon started coming on that rotation got easier.

That is how you win games. Not making free throws is a good way to lose games.

I know we can't shoot them like that all the time, but it would be nice if we could come close.

Can;t remember who said it....but i think he was right....the media is on the Noah talk because there really isn't much story line to this series. It would be a choke of massive chokes if the Cavs don't handle this series with ease.

I can see the Bulls winning maybe 1 game at home.

I like Noah, but wish he would shut-up.....maybe it's his way of trying to motivate his team...I don't know. As good as he is, and he is good, very good, he doesn't need to say much, but after him and Rose, Chicago doesn't match-up all that well with us.

This is the year folks. I hope every player and coach on the team treat every game the rest of the way like it is game 7 of the finals.

Time to get it done.

I am hoping Atlanta moves forward so the Cavs can play them.....I will grab a ticket as I did last year to go see the Cavs in Atlanta.

that 4th foul on shaq changed a lot of things, and it was a pretty bad call. antawn got into early foul trouble too although brown gabmled and kept him in.

lebron was awesome, but the rest of the guys except for jamario kinda took the night off. chicago gave you their best shot. they didn't turn the ball over, the scored 100+ but the cavs are just better.

As much as I dont like him and his big mouth I have to give credit to Noah for coming out and playing a good, tough game to back his mouth up. Some players get pumped up by runnng their mouth and becoming the villain, they like to be in the middle of a poop storm all the time, and Noah seems like one of those guys.

Now to say Noah is VERY good I think is a bit of an exaggeration, he had a very good game last night but really last night was not his norm. Hes normally a 10 to 12 point a night guy. His game also kind oif hinges on what the refs are letting him get away with,if they are allowing him to do his pushing off and grabbing then he will have a better game,if they are calling it like they did in game 1 he will be in constant foul trouble.

On a related note, does any player get away with as many illegal screens as Noah? Dude is constantly setting moving screens and reaching out with his elbows on players trying to get around those screens.

Just wanted to highlight this again.. Wasn't as much a big deal in the 4th.. but we could have easily trailed by 4 or 5 heading into the 4th instead of being tied, had we not shot the free throws like we did..

I hope people (especially the fans that don't follow basketball as much) are reading Windy's game blogs.. I think the casual fan can get a lot of insight from those.. Windy always does a nice job of breaking down the numbers..

I don't watch the Bulls very often....I only watch the Cavs about 25% of the time they are on TV...so i can't really tell you about Noah all that much....my comments relates more to his gator days to be honest. I will say the times i have seen him as a pro he looked good....I'd take him as a Cav.

As for the screens...I see that all the time. I don't think it is anything he gets away with more than anyone else. Andy is pretty good at moving in to defenders paths in an effort to screen.

I think that is a rule that has loosened over the years....you almost have to hop along between the ball and the defender 2-3 steps before it will be called....in part because ball handlers are pretty good at following teammates around down the court.

Noah would be better off if he jumped off a cliff.

What a classless punk. He gets his ass kicked by Shaq and all he can do is run his mouth about Cleveland.

Then again, he'll have plenty of time to visit Cleveland in the month of May after the Cavs eliminate him.

Well all I can hope for Noah is that since he hates it here so much that the Cavs help hhim out and make sure he doesnt have to come back here at all this season. Can you say SWEEP??

Even though I will say I expect Chicago to win one in Chi town, Derek Rose is such a great player I think he can will them to one if Bron has an off game.

as much as 'Peen is pimping cuz he's a Gator, he's right about the screens.

i doubt you'll see anyone called for the elbows (watch utah) and the NBA keeps letting players move earlier and earlier during the pick.

it's tough though because in the early 90's when they were strict about that movement, the defender would get close and grab the jersey where it was hard for the ref to see and negate the roll. the NBA chose to err on the side of the offense advantage (as is usual in pro-sports).

definitely hats off to Noah for backing up his mouth with a good game. he still looks like a WNBA player out there and is a poor-man's AV, but he seems to thrive off the attention/boo's and he played that one out perfectly.

i really think the fans just need to ignore the noah crap. i watched his presser last night and it was obvious that he's now just doing this because he knows it's getting a rise out of clevelanders. it's extremely immature on his part.

but honestly, who cares? the players love cleveland. shaq has said several times how much he has enjoyed his time there. he has done all kinds of cool stuff with twitter. leaving signed shoes and magazines all over the city for fans to find. shaq has definitely gotten around town and left his mark.

so who cares what some loser punk on the other team thinks?

on to the next one.

What do you mean "without using a glove"?

Does this have to do w/fielding or all those new unplanned westsiders?

the only glove he knew was his point guard.

Speaking of AV...
Have you ever seen a big man make more shots with his back to the bucket like Andy does? His little flip reverse layups are a thing of beauty. And completely unblockable too.

and for all the dogging we do on his offensive game, he hit a pretty big jumper late in the 4th last night.

i still don't like him taking those shots, especially in crunch time, but hard to knock the guy when it goes in.

i can't wait for thursday, hopefully we can crank up the defense a little bit, nothin easy, suck the life out of this team.

Don't want to jinx the team, but to paraphrase S.A. Smith, this series is OVER!

That effort the Bulls put out last night was the best shot they had. If they had pulled it out, maybe it's a series, but now they are looking at a pretty gloomy situation. I don't see a tough performance like that out of them again, being such a young team.

That team will be a force next year if they can get another piece. Maybe Bosh goes there?

it's a possibility, but i think it's unlikely.

maybe we swoop in and grab him. bill simmons made mention of the fact that they could easily package up something with jj and make a sign and trade.

that is unlikely too, but it's a possibility.

i honestly think there is a decent chance he stays. but if i had to put money on it, he's gonna end up in miami.

Or D Wade, which would allow Derek Rose to be the pure point guard that he is.

if i was chicago i would put my $$$ on Joe Johnson the first day of FA and make him make a decision.

not because he is the best available, but because they desperately need a scorer and Wade is staying in Miami and I doubt they get Bosh.

i think that is a very realistic possibility. i think he's gone from atlanta, he voiced some displeasure with the front office after they did nothing to try and get better, and i don't think atlanta wants to pay him.
