I was the victim of a car crash this morning, I got rear ended, my car is 4 inches storter, I did go to the hospital with neck and back pain, they gave some jim-dandy pain killers and told me to rest and there was no major damage (*thank God). Right now I'm all doped up....what amazes me right now is how comfortable my work pants are....Go Cintas!!!

Wow 62,, Glad you are ok man.. I rear ended a car in Charleroi PA on Saturday.. I felt horrible,, just awful.. got out of my car to say I'm sorry.. the guy I hit got out of his car,, damned if he wasn't a dwarf... he stepped out of his car, walked up to me and said,, I'm not Happy... I said, OK, which one are you?

old62....on a serious note...just how did the hospital determine if you suffered any serious injury?...xray...CAT scan...MRI...?
I have no idea how hard you were hit, but if your car did suffer the damage you claim, you could have suffered serious injury that is going to be covered up by the pain pills.
Pain is your body's way of tell you, something is injured....taking pain pills can distort the message your body is attempting to send to your brain.
Bottom line, while under the influence of pain pills, on the day of your accident...don't be so quick to assume you are OK...take your time to assess your condition and if your pain does not go away...have it checked out further.
If the hospital did not take an MRI of the area's where you have pain, it's impossible to be sure you did not suffer some kind of injury. The key is, does the pain go away and stay away...do you have full range of motion, without pain?
At least wait until the pain pills are gone to see if all is well...  ...mac

Thanks everybody for your concern and well wishes, I'm stiff and sore, but I still went to work today. I'm the supervisor so none of the grunt work for me!!

Glad to hear that you are undamaged.
Backs are nothing to mess around with. Pain pills are all well and good, but if you experience anything beyond "normal" pain get it checked out.
