I was talking about something similar last night. Put Mt. Cody on the nose, it gives you the option of putting Rogers at end (which I think fits his skillset well) or get max value in a trade.
Cody's size makes me think of Ted Washington when he wasn't a dinosaur.

IMHO we don't take a QB til late, there are 5 or so QB's that will be better than McCoy or Clausen in next years draft.

Cornerbacks only come around twice each draft, but Franchise Quarterbacks, Factor Runninbacks, and top notch Receivers, well there are one or two of them available per 32 teams EACH YEAR.
So waiting unitl the 4th or 5th round to get an offensive skilled position player, well does it make sense?
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

Hey brother............NFL network is reporting that teams have offered future 1sts for the Rams top spot. I sure as hell hope we don't give up our 2nd and future 1st to move up 5 spots.
Now if we are giving our 1st next year and a 3rd this year then maybe, but definitly not a 1st and this year's 2nd...........too much for a 2nd rounder.

I too have a feeling about Clausen being a bust but I won't be mad if they take him anyways because of how high some people had him and the fact that he will be a value pick. You can never tell which QBs will turn out good and it is worth the gamble. That said I think I would rather have McCoy anyways.

Campbell is more of a "freak" than having LT experience. but as a RT he would be awsome to have IMO
I see Cody as good too.
I have Safford rated higher than Campbell but this kid could easily be something very special IMO

Watch the Campbell game film and you will realize he has 1st round workout numbers and 4th round film.
Cody is the opposite. He shows up for games, just didn't look good at the combine/pro day workouts. We won't take him in the 2nd but hope we can get him in the 3rd.

It's a 2nd round pick retards!! Nobody is going to "blow" you away for a 2nd round pick.......and you have needs EVERYWHERE (aka you need more picks). I honestly hope we stand pat and watch McCoy fall to us.

The Rams just took a guy they could have had at 38-40, but because someone wouldn't give them a 1st they balked.
I say again the Rams are dumb as hell to not have picked up another 5th rounder or 2 and still got their guy.

BEREA -- Reports already are circulating that the Browns are in talks again with the St. Louis Rams to move up from No. 38 in tonight's second round to the top, No. 33. I agree, may be we trade up to get McCoy. I want nothing to do with Lefevor, Pike, any of those guys. Only one I'd want besides McCoy is Zac Robinson.
That being said, guys I want with our 3rd round pick, may be Bruce Campbell (still available?) or Jordan Shipley/Gilyard/Damien Williams of USC. One more receiver woudl be great to put next to MoMass and Robiskie, who I expect to be better
