Hanson are actually somewhat gifted musically. Really nice guys.

As for NKOTB. I met Jordan and Joey, and let me just put it out there, that these cats are headcases. That's coming from ME. I'm not going to get into it, but both came off as tremendously transparent, and slightly insane.

We will probably get stuck with Hanson.

The fact that you even know who they are scares me.

Comparing her to a Steelers fan is not smart.

I'm not comparing them.

They both really are smart cookies......and they are both awesome in their own way....and I've told both of them that.

J/C....Maybe we could see a Guns-n-Roses reunion; the original band from "Appetite for Destruction." Maybe, and I say maybe, the Damn Yankees. That was the band in the late 80's featuring Ted Nugent, Jack Blades from Night Ranger and Tommy Shaw; I have no clue who the drummer was? Also we need to get The Foo Fighters...Hell Yeah! Give'em 2 songs each!

of course, if it's a few more years away from the Browns getting to the S.B then we might have to look at bands like Disturbed, Korn. I can see Disturbed playing Voices and Down with the Sickness and Korn playing Got the Life. Now that would pump the crowd up.

And to close, he can play the same chord 417 times like he does on "the Loner."

Triumph, the Rock 'n Roll Machine!

With songs that have a "don't-give-up" slant:
Fight the Good Fight (check that tune out, kids ), Never Surrender, All the Way....

When the St. Louis Cardinals were on their way to the 1982 World series title, they had Triumph blasting in the locker room before every playoff game.

A St. Louis DJ related that story to Triumph guitarist/singer Rik Emmett.

Yeah, but I think any song from Night Ranger doubles that figure.

Lamp....."Rock and Roll Machine" reminds me of The Godz ( a Columbus based band, I think). Pure three chord loudness from the same label as KISS.

When it comes to musicianship, please don't use Triumph and KISS in the same post.

Thanks.

Triumph may have had the odd song with only a handful of different chords, but Rik's one of the greatest guitarists on the planet, IMO.

Are you saying having Michael Stanley play at our SB would put a rip in the time/space continium?

LMAO. Musicianship never had anything to do with KISS. The boys from The Bronx were all about pubescent, egocentric lyrics with blood spewing, fire breathing and testosterone filled visuals that made perfect sense at the height of the "Me Generation". I loved every second of it.

Musicianship...no. Showmanship....absolutely.
