I was behind him even with his obvious flaws but after the effort we showed I don't think I can be...

Mike Brown just said that his guys fought to the end during the press conference... What game was he watching?

Did I really just hear Mike Brown say that he thought his team "fought till the end"?

The end of what? Halftime? I guess it was hard to wake up all the way for the 2nd half ....

Way too old. He was brought in to spend six fouls on Howard and make him feel some pain.

Kind of ironic they didn't even make it that far.

LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

Turnovers were a problem all series. Can't really beat anyone when you average 4 or 5 turnovers per quarter like they did all series.

I'd rather just go down now though, sweeping through Atlanta wouldn't have proven anything. And with the disinterest this team had in the playoffs Orlando would've beaten them easily.

Atleast the misery will be over with tonight.

As long as it's not a love scene, in a sauna, with Kathy Bates, GM, and a plate of baked beans.

I just don't know how to express how dissapointed I am. To not even make a game seven of the second round let alone the finals is a swift kick in the nuts.

Yeah going to really enjoy going to work tomorrow with a bunch of Northeast Ohio born Steeler, Laker, Majic, Saints, Yankee, Red Sox, Colts, Patriot fans that will once again gloat to me how much Cleveland teams freaking suck. Awsome.

If we lost a toughly contested series, that's one thing.

But looking like you quit, like you were afraid, like you didn't know what the hell to even do out there, that was tough to watch. Absolutely pathetic. The whole series except for the one game.

They looked like a shell of the team that played during the regular season.

That's why I am only a fan of one Cleveland team (the Browns)..too much heartbreak. For the record I am a Browns, Reds, and D-Wade fan (not really like the heat just like watching him play)

Go Browns!!

They don't just need a new coach.

LeBron needs a legit second fiddle ... borderline All-Star ... preferably someone who can play in the post with their back to the basket.

Sure it would be great to have amare or bosh, but we should've been able to beat this boston team. Heck 2 years ago we took them to 7, only losing by a few points. That boston team was younger, and better. Our roster had improved since then getting mo, jamison, and shaq. It doesn't make sense.

Didn't mean to make it sound so basic, but the talent is there,...it just didn't perform.

Jamison is "supposed" to be a 20 point a game guy. What happened to THAT ?

Shaq plays rare defense.

Varejao's offense went back to Brazil.

Lots of "unknowns."

It's over,... I'm moving on. I'll continue to comment until James makes his announcement,...

I should just shut up.

This is going to be a rough off-season....

Most likely a new coach, franchise player in limbo, holes in the pivot to fill (possibly both Z and Shaq gone) with no money or draft picks to do it.

The biggest question is where do we go from here? Unless Ferry pulls a miracle sign and trade, there are a ton of questions surrounding this roster. I've always felt like LeBron would be back but I truthfully have no idea. Our big acquisition (Antawn) turned in to a shell of his former self when it mattered.

Not even sure what else to say.

I can't think of any other guy.I know Riley said he wants to coach. Wade would have to leave for him to become available.

If lebron stays we need a veteran coach who has been in the finals, and put teams over the hump. dealing with strong personalities is aslo required. Coack K would be the only exception to that. Larry Brown also comes to mind.

I would like Larry Brown. Has a history with LeBron also.

But on the other hand, the browns have been failures since their return, Mike Brown has been a failure...maybe we should just distance ourselves from the word brown

Please just don't tell me it's gonna be Calipari.

Seriously,...I have NO CLUE who it should be,...people talk about Jackson,...why in the world would he want to leave LA after they win this one coming up AGAIN,...

No VanGundy's,...please.

Avery Johnson,....maybe?

I love the Spurs. THEIR guy might be good in Cleveland. But is he a good coach,.... ? He has it "made" with Duncan, Ginobli, and Parker.

Doc Rivers would be good. The boy has "it." Did we hear whose "huddles" were broadcast during this last series ? -- It was never Mike Brown's,....

I just think Pat Riley is too old.....but he would be H-O-H on MB -- and as pointed out above, entrenched in Miami.

I would hope not. Brown has to be the most miserable man in town. no need to add injury to insult. He was just overmatched as a coach. Deep down he has to know that. plus he seems like a good man.

Someone pointed it out earlier on another board that Mike Brown was up screaming at the players to foul Rondo in the last few minutes when he was dribbling out some clock with about 2 minutes left. The players completely ignored him and stood there casually and let him dribble around until the shot clock wound down and they got an offensive rebound. Then the same thing happened AGAIN for another 24 seconds. I lost my feed and regained it right at the end of the second shot clock that they weren't fouling so I didn't see this, can anyone confirm or deny?

If that happened, that says a lot I think.

I hope not too but this is Cleveland and we do crazy things while upset. I would be surprised if I were to come home to the house the way I left it if it were me in that position. I'd have told my family to stay at a relatives to watch the game before I left for Boston just to be on the safe side in case windows were broken or anything like that.

Someone's head has to roll over this.

And Brown would be the obvious choice, assuming LBJ is fine w/ that (and assuming he stays here).

I'll make a few phone calls in the morning, and see if...

A. Calipari is even a canidate for any of the possible places LeBron might go..

And B. If Calipari would even consider a jump.

I'll post what I hear on the Calipari front tomorrow.

Ok you do that, and I'll give LeBron's agent a ring and ask him about LeBron's possilble destinations.

Calipari is a great coach for the college level. but I see him flopping again if he went to the nba. his personality fits with the younger guys that are hungry. the nba player already has the money.

I'll know from the UK side of things specifically about Calipari sense someone mentioned him.

I'm not pretending to know where LeBron will go. I'm simply going to find out if Calipari is going to be a canidate for any of LeBron's possible destinations... NJ, Chicago, or Cleveland (Not New York, cuz it's obvious that's not job isn't open).

jk,

I just heard Lebron's presser on espn and, wow, I think the team bus just backed over Mike Brown. I may be reading a bit to far in between the lines, but it sound to me like a "I'll stay, but not with this jackass" type of attitude.

The guy had 7 years to win something for us, and I will say he's a great player but he was unable to get the job done. I bet Jordan could've willed this team to victory in 7 years

Sure he had Ho Grant and Pippen those first few years but was he also the GM of the team and had the control that LeBron has been granted?

LeBron has basically ok'd every move that was done by the front office, it wont look good for him if he decides to leave. That is what gives me a gleam of hope that he might stay. Although I'm not counting on it, trust me.
