It's an interesting OS. You kind of have to give up some intuitiveness to gain new intuitiveness .... if that makes sense.
I have been using Windows since the 3.1 days ..... and certain things have been in certain spots ..... and now they have tweaked how some things are accessed. Open programs always sat on the taskbar, for example. They still do ..... but in a different way.
It's been an interesting 2 days learning all of the new ways of interacting with the system. It's really quite intuitive .... but, like a said, a "new and different" intuitive.
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
John 14:19 Jesus said: Because I live, you also will live.

Actually I would probably enjoy that aspect of it, and damn you guys for making me want to buy it more and more.

XP is still a great OS, and no reason to spend the money just to upgrade without reason, but I would not fear the upgrade like many of us did with the XP -> Vista change.
We don't have to agree with each other, to respect each others opinion.

Oh I forgot to mention also
it seems that Secunia is a bit behind in their Linux Kernel 2.6.x vulnerability sheet
the 2.6.34 kernel fixed the flaws listed on that page awhile ago, and a new kernel is currently in RC stage.
just an FYI, however a flaw is a flaw I will admit
