A few years back, the Steelers were having a really bad year. During one of our losses, we were getting embarrassed by the Titans. In the fourth quarter, a receiver named Bobby Shaw caught a meaningless touchdown and pulled up his jersey in the end zone to reveal a Superman emblem on his undershirt. I was so embarrassed. When your in last place and your playing a team that owns you (the Titans used to own the Steelers just like we currently own the Browns), it makes you look like a complete idiot to talk trash while losing.

Kellen had zero catches up to that point in the game and ended the game with 4 catches for 36 yards and no TD's. His longest catch was 11 yards. Porter had 8 tackles (which was as many as the leading tackler for the Browns) and a sack. Porter ended up on the winning side and his team has beaten the Browns 6 times in a row. Oh and by the way, Porter is also a Super Bowl Champion.

I'm not sure if we are allowed to cuss on this message board, so someone let me know if we are not. In the meantime, [censored] Kellen Winslow. He didn't punk anybody out. To punk someone out is to make them back down against you. Kellen got himself into a good stance and was able to break a tackle from Porter. Porter responded with a sack on the next play. Porter did not back down from anyone.

One last thing. I know that you guys had several moral victories in this past week's game:
"At least we didn't get shut out...."
"At least we had the lead most of the game..."
"At least our defense has given up fewer points this year that the Steelers..."
"At least KWII broke a tackle on a play that ended up having no effect on the outcome of the game..."
That should pretty much make you guys a lock for home-field advantage in the moral victory playoffs, right? I mean according to moral victories, the Browns are undefeated this year. It won't be long until you guys will get to celebrate yet another moral victory Super Bowl in downtown Cleveland this year. In the meantime, I'll be happy with the Steelers' real victories.

Let's examine this, shall we? You say that your defense has allowed 208 points and the Steelers defense has allowed 227 points. I believe that you are trying to imply that this makes your defense better?

First of all, the Browns defense has only allowed 194 points. The other 14 points were from an interception return for a touchdown and a kickoff return for a touchdown. Also, the Browns defense has scored 7 points by returning an interception for a touchdown. This brings the Cleveland defense's net total points to 187 allowed.

The Steelers defense, on the other hand, has given up 199 points. The other 28 points were from 3 Roethlisberger interceptions that were returned for TD's and one kickoff return (Josh Cribbs) that was returned for a TD. Also, the Steelers defense scored 21 points by returning 3 interceptions for touchdowns. This brings the Pittsburgh defense's net total points to 178 allowed.

So which one is better?

By the way, I only post this to point out how silly your argument is. The answer to who is better is painfully obvious. It's the team that has beaten the other team the last 6 times they have played each other.

Let's make this simple...the question is which team has a better defense - Cleveland or Pittsburgh? The original poster tried to falsify his numbers and state that Cleveland's defense has given up 208 points while Pittsburgh's has given up 227. This is a lie. Cleveland's defense has given up 194 and Pittsburgh's has given up 199. Cleveland's defense has also scored 7 points while Pittsburgh's has scored 21.

My whole point was that I would rather have a defense that gives up 199 and scores 21 than a defense that gives up 194 and scores 7. If you give up 5 more points but score 14 more points, you have done a better job for your team in my opinion.

Just because you have never thought of this concept doesn't mean it is garbage.

Bobby Shaw scoring a touchdown and showing a Superman shirt when his team is losing is idiotic, and KW2 celebrating his one good play against a LB whose team has beaten his team 6 in a row (including the game that he was supposedly making people his bitch) is idiotic too.
