Using Wally Szczerbiak and Eric Snow's expired contracts ......

I worked a trade in BSPN trade machine involving Wally, Eric Snow, Shaq, Z, and cash. I dont see why OKC wouldnt do this, theyre going to lose him in 4 years any ways.....

But that team would still lose to Kobe. Cause you know Kobe is the 2nd coming. His will would strike fear into our team causing them to forfit in the finals.

i can't wait for a durant to the knicks campaign as soon as this is all over. they'll be those idiot knick fans with their fake durant jerseys, and espn will broadcast games live from msg whenever the thunder come in and win by 40.

and then durant will snub them too.

Gawd you guys! I logged in and saw 20 new comments, and thought we pulled off a trade for Bosh or something.

Is there any way you can run that ESPN trade machine to see how we can trade for Hakeem Olajuwon in his prime? We'd be really good with him.

jc...

This morning Chris Broussard was on Mike & Mike talking about the free agency period. He kept saying that with these big name free agents-to-be, money talks. Then he followed it up with talk about LeBron going to the Bulls or the Heat. It left me wanting to send a message to the show asking which is it, and if it was indeed "money talks" then why would LeBron leave $30 million minimum on the table.

He also said that the 2010 Cavaliers with LeBron might be as good as the 2010 Knicks with LeBron.

i'm hearing another thing on the coaching forefront, i don't know if i have a reputable link yet. but if anyone wants the scoop, pm me.

Ahhh....just post it.....nearly all of this stuff posted is speculation anyway....

I don't want this to become a rumor site as much as anyone else, but if it is posted as such, I don't see how that is any different than I saying i think Phil Jackson is going to be our next coach.

Especially when you take in to context the importance of the situation.

At this point in this situation we all know 80% of what is being printed is simply someones opinion.

Who out there is even worth a max contract? I'd probably say Lebron, Wade, Bosh and Amar'e. The big joke this past season was people telling all the delerious Knicks fans who thought they'd land Bosh and Lebron no problem, that they'll probably wind up with Rudy Gay and Carlos Boozer at the max ... looking more like a reality now.

I really hope that Gilbert DOESN'T go that route, just to prove he's not some sort of Larry Dolan. As much as people bich and moan about Dolan, I'd much rather NOT lock myself down to a bunch of bad contracts just for the sake of spending money ... and have the flexibility to sign guys down the road as well as the opportunity to draft some up-and-coming stars. It's much better than being mired in mediocrity, where your cap is full, you can't get out of the first round in the playoffs, and you aren't drafting high enough to get anyone who can turn things around.

I am not as up on it as all you guys, and am impressed with the conversation....thanks....I appreciate it.

As a sidebar , and a guy I see fairly often, I like Joe Johnson....I think he would look real good in a Cavs uniform with LBJ.

No doubt I would rather have Bosh......just saying as a consultation prize.

Joe would give us some serious scoring options.

I think the big knock on Joe J is that he's known to disappear in the post-season.

QFT

That's my only beef with Joe. He pulls a Mo Williams come playoff time. He'd be a perfect compliment to LeBron though.

Sort of like LBJ????

When you have a one man show it isn't hard to take that away.

Put the two of them together you have something unless the other 3 can't make a layup at 75%

Not really. Joe J's playoff averages are 4 to 5 points less every year except for one. Lebron has two seasons where his playoff total was more than 1 point less than his regular season total, and those dropoffs were 2.3 and 1.8 points in '07 and '08, respectively. In '08 and '09 his playoff averages were actually higher than his regular season averages.

Joe also isn't a one-man show in Atlanta. He's playing alongside Josh Smith (15.7 ppg), Al Horford (14.2), Mike Bibby (9.1), and Jamal Crawford (18.0).

outside of the boston series this year, lbj has always been a machine in the playoffs..

joe johnson has had his moments. i like the guy but i don't think he's a max guy. i wouldn't mind having him at a good price tho.
