Quote: "I really wanna put you guys album on my label. I totally understand where you're coming from and I would never do anything to hurt your careers. We're gonna spend big money on you guys... big money."
It wasn't meant to be This thing with you and me It took a year to figure out how much you lied to me I never understood How much you've gone insane You must have told yourself a thousand time I am to blame With every single thought with every single word I disassemble every piece of crap from you I heard It couldn't hit me at a better time than this You're at the top of my wanted list
You waste of space I'll never ever let you live this down Everyone knows How worthless your intentions are to me
"I don't understand what happened... I mean I personally deposited the money into your account. It's in there... uhh.. can you check it again? It might take a minute or two to post."
It isn't funny but I think I have to laugh That little piece of hope I had inside you tore in half It isn't broken but You couldn't fix it now You couldn't tell the truth if superman would show you how I'm f--king angry now, but you don't mean enough Tomorrows yesterday will turn your memory into dust I like the way that sounds I like the way it feels To take away from those who steal
I broke down, fell asleep against my sorrow No more reasons left to try You walked in with a reason to rekindle I thought I could touch the sky And then you lied Oh yes you lied Why did you lie?
"Hey guys... it's uh, me... Um, it looks like, um... our investors are backing out. I know we already put your record out but, but anyway uh, I guess this is it."
Take a look at the big picture here, didn't you see this coming before this dude even graduated high school?
I think the funny thing is this happened to the city of Cleveland, I mean set the days without major embarassment as a Browns fan clock back to Zero, Again!. Except I really don't feel that way because I've never really been a Cavs or Basketball, or Lebron fan.
OH I was hoping he would win a championship, for the city to get the monkey off their back, but Hey, maybe this is God's way of saying the only championship good enough for Cleveland will be a Browns Superbowl title.
There's so many ways to look at this. NY didn't get what they wanted, and do the taxes have something to do with that? LbJ, was demonstrating his American freedom to go where he wants and work where he wants, and that is honorable.
I met a guy today, he said Lebrton is a M- - - - - Pos, and I didn't even bring up the subject,
The championship monkey is not off Clevelands back, the monkey just got carved into the mount rushmore of Clevelands back, and thats meant to weather for 30,000 years. I mean Cleveland ain't going to win a championship for a long time, a lonnng time.
You understand, Lebron James is one of the best players you could ever hope to get, and you got him, for 7 years, and they didn't even seriously almost win a title, they didn't. There isn't a blown call, or one bad game that stopped them from winning a title ( the Cavs) . Actually, I may be wrong on that because I just barely checked into their status the last 10 years because I Hate Basketball, and always have.
I see it is easier when you don't care about something because I honestly don't care ( well very little) that he was around or not but it is just REMARKABLE that this kind of thing happens to Cleveland, Again!
There may be 1, but there are not 2 supporting comments about how wonderful it was to see Lebrons start of his career in Cleveland, or how everyone will always love him because he is a local native. Who would want to come to Cleveland and play? Nobody! That is why the Monkey of no championships just got so dug in to the back of the city of Cleveland that it is like, it is going to be a long time. I don't even know how to describe it.
For one thing, I don't think they even learned yet that you don't win championships by acquiring players.
The NBA is a star league, they say, well as far as I can tell the Cavs, Can't , not won't but Can't bring a star to their team, unless they leave the city. The Ravens won a championship in 2000. Who is the newest NBA team, oklohoma city, or Virginia Beach? They have a better chance of winning, wait The LA clippers have a better chance of winning a championship than any Cleveland team will for the long time future!
See the big picture, I have some advice, make Cleveland a better place to be, and maybe somehow the teams will start playing better, because the people will be happier to be living in Cleveland.
This thing doesn't matter, come on, if you let yourself beleive the Cavilers mattered after they signed him, when they didn't matter for the entire team history before they sighed him, and if you thought anybody was going to come to Cleveland just to play with him, .... well learn something. It ain't going to happen.
Cleveland Ain't going to win a championship, and even if they do, it will get nullified and taken away because it is Cleveland. It's Cleveland, the entire country hates Cleveland, and the whole state of Ohio, and it is not going to change get used to it. I don't understand why this is, but I understand it is so. At least he didn't go to New York so that is good.
Just enjoy the sports for what they are, and the only way this City will win a championship is through the one sport where there are so many variables that one contract can't stop it from happening, The Browns.
Not Lebron Leaving, but the Hatred for Lebron leaving, the Hatred I find laughable, because you had to know, you had to know it would happen.
Yeah,, I just read it a moment ago.. the man is ticked off and seems determined to build a winner without LBJ...
I'm not now, nor have I ever really been a big B-Ball fan.. so to me, it's more a slap in the face to the region and the fans that have been loyal and supportive of anything LBJ...
It took me a moment to realize it, but after LBJ announced his decision, I went back to what he was asked by Jim Gray a moment earlier..
He was asked, "do the teams involved know of your decision" (paraphrasing a bit)
His response was that that the team he's chosen just found out. But that the other teams were about to find out.
You would think he would have at least called Dan Gilbert personally to tell him that he's leaving.. But no,, he just announced it on National TV..
It's a slap in the face to every fan that supported him....It's a slap in the face to Dan Gilbert and it's a black mark on an otherwise incredible career so far.
He's always be known as a traitor without courage...... He's Art Modell II
I was listening to the news this morning. I guess the deal he would have gotten here is 130 mill over 6 years or basically 21.66 million per year.
The Heat apparently could offer 99 million over 5 years.. or 19.8 million per year.
Given that Florida doesn't have a state income tax, it basically comes out close to even money. Maybe a little less (by his standards, not mine)
In my head, I realize, he did what he did and it was his right to do so. In my heart, I feel as if he just disrepected all the fans..
