I was in hasting's last week & they had a spread sheet on new games coming out. Fear 3 is listed as coming out in the 3rd Q. Anybody hear anything about it? Fear has taken over as my all time favorite. Replacing Doom. I can't wait. I just hope it comes out now & not next year.

Fear 2 was a big improvment over Fear & the add on pack. If you like FPS, thats all I like to play, then you'll love this. Great story line & alot of action.

Good to hear #3 is coming out.
Like you, FEAR has passed DOOM as my all-time favorite game. Just curious if you like any other recent shooters.
Doom3 was only fair, I have the expansion pack and have never played through it. FEAR drew me in like nothing since Doom2.

Glad to see I'm not alone. I think I played out all of the Dooms before I found Fear. I like Wolfenstein. Black, which is a xbox game but you can up-date it to play on the Xbox 360. The Call-to-duty's are pretty good. I can't help it, I just like FPS. Halo is alright & I hear that a new one is on the way. I have not tried the current Halo. My son thinks I'm off my rocker because I really did not like Gears of War, because it was a 3rd person shooter. I mean it was alright, but I like that up close action of the 1st person so much more.

The first FEAR game is one of my favorite FPS games, maybe of all time. I loved playing it on the PC but I found it a bit more crisp when it was transfered over to the 360 (as it wasn't a direct-from-PC-port like the PS3 version) and I never got the opportunity to play FEAR 2... Now that they're making a third one I may have to give it a try since it seems to be pretty cheap at EB Games (Gamestop).
I'm interested on playing Fetel as the main character, unless I misinterpreted the game trailer I saw, It should be a lot of fun and add a new element to the storytelling of the game. I can't wait to see where they take this. FEAR was always one of those games I wish they'd try to make a decent movie out of.
