You and the others who thought that way weren't bright enough to remember your plays or think on your feet, and weren't on the field while we were.

I'm gonna stop this nonsense after this because talking to you about it is like hitting my head against a brick wall..

No need to insult people by the way.. Just because we don't agree..

But there is something you should know,, the best players as well as the best teammates have carried someones pads.. and they didn't forget plays, they didn't screw up.. they were or are at the top of thier game.

so your argument is pretty much worthless. and WAYYYYY off the mark...

believe what you want, but you won't ever convince me your right,,

Someone....a defensive player maybe, is going to shove him in to a locker and make him squeal like a pig before he gets out.

Raiders Sign First-Round Pick Rolando McClain
Raiders sign first-round pick Rolando McClain hours before start of first practice

By JOSH DUBOW
The Associated Press

NAPA, Calif.

The Oakland Raiders have signed first-round pick Rolando McClain hours before the start of their first training camp practice.

The team announced the deal with the middle linebacker late Wednesday night. The Raiders will hold their first training camp practice on Thursday morning.

McClain is just the third first-round pick to sign a contract and at No. 8 the highest overall pick to do so. The Dallas Cowboys signed No. 24 pick Dez Bryant last week and the New England Patriots signed No. 27 pick Devin McCourty on Wednesday morning.

The Raiders traditionally have done a good job getting their top picks into camp on time with the exception of JaMarcus Russell's lengthy holdout in 2007 that lasted until the start of the regular season.

Really good news for us because he was the pick right after Haden. McClain's deal kinda sets the backdrop for the deal for Haden. Very good to see.

While this is definitely a step in the right direction, Haden may be a little more difficult because of him being a CB as compared to a LB. But, this should help things out.

I wonder if Bryant is an English Major .....

http://www.cleveland.com/budshaw/index.ssf/2010/07/for_the_cavaliers_playing_fast.html

HE SAID IT

"I didn't know nothing about no tradition," Cowboys rookie receiver Dez Bryant, explaining why he refused to carry teammate Roy Williams' shoulder pads off the practice field.

Is that ...... a triple negative?

He's the kind of idiot that next year will be the first Cowboy to start handing his pads and lunch orders to the rookies.

Just imagine how Dez conducted himself in team interviews before the draft.

It makes you wonder how some of these kids were able to get through college using that kind of grammer.

reports were he stopped attending classes once the NCAA blocked his appeal to get back on the team.

so, let's give him 2 years and hope that none of those were an English class.

Not to mention High School..

The guy is a heck of an athlete.. I don't think anyone questions that... But this young man has all the markings of another TO and he is acting like it before he actually does anything on the field.. This is trouble... with a capital T

Good lord that is ridiculous money.

It could lead to a holdout with Haden considering he is going to want more than that since he was drafted one slot higher and is a CB.

The NFL really needs a rookie salary cap, this is getting out of control.

Yeah ... and in 1999, gas was around $1.20 per gallon, a gallon of milk was about $1.70, and a Grand Cherokee Limited 4X4, loaded with leather and damn near every option had an MSRP of about $35,000.

If we paid Couch $40 million in 1999, and it's now 11 years later, and the no. 8 pick is getting that $40 million, does that mean salaries are relative at the pace of 0.63 draft pick spots per year?

However you slice it, basically it means the raiders have SCREWED us over the past two drafts. They single handedly cost us milions.

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Man that's a lot of dough. The guaranteed money is just mind boggling..... to pay someone who has never played a down that kind of money. There was a time not long ago when guaranteed money was unheard of.

So at least Hayden now has a reference point.

Tim Tebow will not make $33 million
Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on July 29, 2010 7:44 PM ET
Turning water into wine might be easier than turning Tim Tebow's five-year contract into a $33 million deal.

The Broncos signed the No. 25 overall pick to a contract with a base package of $11.25 million, and an "absolute maximum" of $33 million.

To get close to all that money, a source with knowledge of the situation said Tebow will "have to make Peyton Manning look like a fool."

Tebow's incentives are broken down into playing time and performance escalators. If Tebow can reach every playing time trigger and become the consistent starting quarterback (possibly soon), he could make up to $24 million over five years.

Another $9 million is tied up in escalators for difficult goals like Pro Bowls, playoff wins, and Super Bowl appearances.

Our understanding is that Tebow's camp was willing to take $11.25 million as the base salary because they expect he will become the starting quarterback and that number will become moot.

Now all Tebow has to do is prove Josh McDaniels right, and prove just about everyone else wrong.
