He talked too fast for me in parts. Not moving to the state fershure! Is he just making this up? What is really scary? All politicians have a hidden agenda; wonder what he is not telling us, lurking under the surface. I DID have to see it to believe it. This was a big, fat negative wow. Constituency of the Three-striped flag. Don't waste him on Tenn.! Send this man to Washington. Very patriotic though. Good luck with this. I voted. This ought to be great for turning out the vote. . . . .

That's my man! He lives in Soddy Daisy, a town about 10 miles from here. LOL I think Basil has run for a lot of things.... he never gets elected.....I haven't been able to figure that out...maybe he needs to stand still and not sway back and forth like a 6 year old?? LOL

I am fairly amazed this guy made it Corporal in the Marines, let alone got into Force Recon. I have my doubts on those claims. The rest seems like random thoughts of an uninformed individual.

I would completely agree. SpecWar doesn't take idiots... even back in '71. You've always had to be able to display certain degree of intelligence and cognizence.
Then again, perhaps the guy took a bit of a head injury and that is why his time was so short... the timing is right for 'Nam. It would be consistent I think, because in looking at him and listening to him, he strikes me as a child playing adult. Just look at the picture of him in that sports jacket where he has (poorly) sewn 32 years of 'Good Conduct' stripes onto each of the sleeves, and the flag on the shoulder... wearing the red turtle neck so that he has on Marine colors. The dude is *definitely* brain-locked into a very narrow timeframe of his life.

How dare you? The man is a member of the Freedman's Bureau. I mean, forget the fact that it ceased to exist in the 19th century..that's commitment!

Two pieces of greatness from his web page:
U.S.Senate of Zack wamp in 2010
Make sure that if national insurance is put in place, I will make sure the roots of such bill with not inclued any type measuring of the waist like other counties. quoted on 1/3/09
Maybe he's not really running for governor, but for the senate on the distant planet of Zack wamp, where people throw ducks at balloons and nothing is as it seems. [note: Congressman Zach Wamp is running for governor of TN also, but I have to think that my scenario is much more realistic when it comes to Basil].
And all this time debating the national health care reform, I never really considered the measuring of waists. I once was blind, but now I see!!

Absolutely. Elect Basil Marceaux.com.
First time through I thought he wanted to "plant grass and vegetation .... and sell it for kids ... and use it for our expenses". After clarifying that it was "selling it for gas" it made sense, especially since we now know he is from the planet, "Zack wamp".
Of course if it's not Zack wamp, but Pennsylvania, then it really makes sense. I would guess where the rivers meet.

As a Tennessee resident, and a member of several Nashville young professional groups...politics here is hilarious...there are billboards downtown for a congressman proclaiming "end global jihad now"

Oh I'm quite a zealot.. absolutely. Of course you say it like its a bad thing... As for the tin foil hat.. just an observation that it seemed really coincidental that this homeless guy comes out of nowhere and wins the primary in SC making the Democratic party look sort of stupid.. then a few months later this guy shows up claiming to be a republican.. Not really a tin foil hat moment as much as it is a "Hmmm, thats odd" sort of moment.

Dude, that's too funny to make up.

I'm sure his heart is in the right place but.........never mind.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.
