Braylon dude? Really?
That said, if they played each other, I'd take team 2.

Not a fan of your QBs. Also never draft 2 d/st ever. Also not a big fan in drafting multiple TE, but since you took Moore a Brown, I'll let it slide.

I only took two DST's because it was my last pick and I already had two QB's, 6 RB's, 4 WR's.
The best QB left was Kyle Orton.
The best RB left was Jason Snelling
The best WR left was Devin Hester
I decided to take a solid defensive option instead.

I would have gone for Snelling, or a WR. I'm sure there were some upsides guys left at the position, a Robo, or someone along the lines. You can pick up a def to stream any week as long as you watch the match ups. Last pick so not a huge issue.

I think you have a good team for an 8 person league. I'm glad you took Forte cause I feel he will have a bounce back year; especially from what I heard about him in camp. CJ Spiller is a very good risk for a rookie. I don't like Steve Smith this year but you never know my man.

Thanks man! I agree with you on Forte and CJ. Now I'm hoping Steve Smith returns to form now that guy Jake Delhomme is in Cleveland.
I guess we will see!

i drafted last night. 8-man league, std scoring.
QB Jay Cutler (8) WR Andre Johnson (2) WR Roddy White (3) RB Frank Gore (1) RB Ryan Grant (4) RB/WR Ronnie Brown (5) TE Antonio Gates (6) K Garrett Hartley (14) DST Pittsburgh (7) BN Ahmad Bradshaw (9) BN Dwayne Bowe (10) BN Kevin Kolb (11) BN Visanthe Shiancoe (12) BN Santonio Holmes (13) BN Monterio Hardesty (15) BN New England
obviously weak at QB. strategy was to get consistency out of the WR, RB, and TE positions rather than get a stud QB. also some strange value choices, but they were made b/c of abnormal runs in this league (e.g. defenses EARLY).

You took a def that early and then a back up def? Not a fan of that.

i know you're not...saw your other post on that. i did take my back-up last. our league is strict on the # of moves you can make, so we don't have the luxury of stocking up on long-shot RBs/WRs at the expense of bye week replacements for other positions.

I started an offensive/defensive league last year with scoring as followed.
Offense Passing Yards 25 yards per point; 2 points at 250 yards; 4 points at 350 yards; 6 points at 400 yards Passing Touchdowns 4 Interceptions -1
Rushing Yards 10 yards per point; 2 points at 100 yards; 4 points at 150 yards; 6 points at 200 yards Rushing Touchdowns 6
Reception Yards 10 yards per point; 2 points at 100 yards; 4 points at 150 yards; 6 points at 200 yards Reception Touchdowns 6
2-Point Conversions 2 Fumbles Lost -2 Offensive Fumble Return TD 6
Defensive Players Tackle Solo 2 Tackle Assist 1 Sack 6 Interception 6 Fumble Force 6 Fumble Recovery 2 Defensive Touchdown 8 Safety 2 Pass Defended 1 Block Kick 4
Seemed to have went over extremely well and everyone that was in it loved it, so I brought it back again this year. This is a 12 team league
Your allowed QB, RB, WR, LB,LB,LB,LB,DT,DE,DE,S,S,CB,CB,CB
Here is the team I have.
QB- Matt Ryan WR- Chad Ochocinco RB- Ray Rice BN- Ben Roethlisberger BN- Knowshon Moreno BN- Michael Crabtree
LB- Barrett Ruud LB- D.J Williams LB- Karlos Dansby LB- E.J Henderson BN- Nick Barnett BN- Jonathan Vilma BN- James Harrison
DT- Brandon Mebane BN- Jonathan Babineaux
DE- Jared Allen DE- John Abraham BN- Brandon Graham
S- Troy Polamalu S- Roman Harper BN- Antoine Bethea
CB- Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie CB- Brandon Flowers CB- Eric Wright BN- Terence Newman
I revolved my draft around defensive guy's (or else I wouldn't have picked Ben but there is really no-one left) and tried to pick as many players as I could that accumulate a ton of tackles, last year I went with alot of guy's that were sack artists but that proved to be too un-reliable.
Over all I love this league and think I had an outstanding draft.

One of my other leagues is an 8 team league that my buddy made, it's kind of different in that ur allowed 2 qb's, 3wr's, 2rb's, 1 TE and 4 of any variation of QB/WR/TE/RB. This league also count's return yardage.
I'm not overly pleased with the team I drafted because some dude completey stock piled alot of qb's and left alot of us scrubs, should have planned my draft a little better because he will probably own us all with all those qb's.
But here is my team.
QB- Matt Ryan QB- Eli Manning WR- Andre Johnson WR- Greg Jennings WR- Hines Ward RB- Steven Jackson RB- LeSean McCoy TE- Brent Celek Q/W/R/T- Matt Forte Q/W/R/T- Percy Harvin Q/W/R/T- Matthew Stafford Q/W/R/T- Jason Campbell BN- Devin Hester BN- Ben Roethlisberger BN- Knowshon Moreno BN- Zach Miller BN- Mohamed Massoquoi BN- Dez Bryant
I have two more leagues to draft in one this weekend and another the weekend after that. This weekends one is pretty much a standard league and the one after that is pretty standard except that it count's return yardage and your allowed one defensive player. I will post them after I draft them.

Here's the first team I drafted last Friday. It's a 14-team PPR league that I run. Last year I won $1750 on a PPR league with 2 RB's I picked up as free agents because I was stacked at QB/WR/TE so I went with the same strategy. I had pick 12 out of 14.
QB - Eli Manning NYG WR - Randy Moss NE WR - Reggie Wayne IND RB - Arian Foster HOU RB - Ahmad Bradshaw NYG WR/TE - Wes Welker NE TE - Antonio Gates SD D/ST - Steelers K - Lawrence Tynes NYG
Bench: QB - Ben Roethlisberger PIT WR - Mike Williams TB WR - Devin Thomas WAS RB - Michael Bush OAK RB - Clinton Portis WAS RB - Fred Jackson BUF
Joe Thomas made Justin Timberlake change his name. He didn't want wusses to have the same initials...

Some pretty good teams on here. I'm pretty happy with this team right here. 10 team league with 1-QB 2-RB 2-WR 1-RB/WR 1-TE 1-OP (any offensive player) 1-DP (any defensive player) K and D
Wreckin' Yo Cribbs
QB - Tom Brady RB - Chris Johnson RB - Jamaal Charles RB/WR - Jerome Harrison WR - Calvin Johnson WR - Michael Crabtree TE - Jermichael Finley OP - Phillip Rivers DP - Patrick Willis D/ST - Eagles K - Stephen Gostkowski (NE)
This draft was pretty ridiculous. I'm always pretty optimistic about my teams, but I would have to say this one is loaded.

I keep seeing Jay Cutler!?!? I think Kyle Orton is a better QB---even Delhomme before Cutler. Hell, I would rather have Chad Henne, or Matt Stafford before Cutler. I just don't have any confidence in the guy.

I like your running backs. AP and Moreno is solid for a 14 team league.
And, I think Tim Hightower is a huge sleeper this year.

I will be satisfied with my rb's if they perform like they are supposed to. But I am still suspect on all of them but Peterson.

I opened up a trade offer with
Ben Roethlisberger, Devin hester, Knowshon Moreno for Ryan Matthews and T.J Houschmanzadeh
He countered with Jay Cutler, Ryan Matthews, Jason Witten and Miamis defense for Phillip Rivers, Greg Jennings and Owen Daniels
I re-countered Phillip Rivers, Mike Sims Walker, Knowshon Moreno and Owen Daniels for Jay Cutler, T.J Houschmanzadeh, Ryan Matthews and Jason Witten
He hasn't re-countered yet or turned it down but any thoughts?
This will be in the 14 team league I posted earlier.

As long as Cutler isn't an INT machine the first few weeks then I would say that would be better for you. If Moreno was healthy I would say if would be better for him though.

He tried to get Jennings instead of Walker off me and I countered with the same trade I offered before but added Devin Hester and a message saying Jennings wasn't going anywhere. Needless to say this trade is now dead.

Just did a draft with the guys I work with. Yahoo league with QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, K, D as the lineup. It's a points league not head-to-head. I had the last pick in the 1st.
QB - Phillip Rivers - 5th round RB - Rashard Mendenhall - 1st Round RB - Steven Jackon - 2nd Round WR - Greg Jennings - 3rd WR - Anquan Boldin - 4th WR - Michael Crabtree - 6th TE - Kellen Winslow II - 10th K - Neil Rackers - 15th D/ST - Houston - 14th BEN - Shady McCoy - 7th BEN - Arian Foster - 8th BEN - Mike Wallace - 9th BEN - Chad Henne - 11th BEN - LaDainian Tomlinson - 12th BEN - Jabar Gaffney - 13th
I think I made out pretty well, I was the only one to wait til the last two rounds on K and D. Several teams picked backups at TE, K, and D.

Not a bad draft there at all, I can't believe you got McCoy in the 7th. He went like 3rd or 4th in all my leagues. I expect big things from him this year.

16 team league
QBs: Flacco Orton RBs: AP, Harrison, Best, j. davis WRs: b edwards, dez bryant, momass, tate, josh morgan TE: Fasano, sheffler D colts and steelers K : Dawson
we play QB RB RB RB/WR WR WR TE Def Kicker
extra te and def only because noone was really left.. and I have filled my roster anyways. and it's a one keeper league where we cannot keep certain players.. I kept Flacco (I had noone else I could keep that was better)
