Not me. It got a 7/10 on IGN. The whole mafia, kill everyone, do anything, sandbox gameplay is getting old. The only game I would get that focuses on this type of gameplay is grand theft auto; which i hear might be going back to san andreas for GTAV. *Fingers crossed*

Agreed I am all but done with the crime sandbox genre. Even the last GTA I thought was boring and couldnt wait for it to be over. To me they're all played one, you played them all.

I pretty much agree, they get boring after so long. Even Red Dead Redemption got boring as hell by the time I got to Blackwater. I am interested in playing Mafia 2 though, just to see what it's like. Really all video games are boring anymore, probably wouldn't be if I played online but as it stands now I hardly ever play my x-box now. Really i'm just counting the days until Diablo3 comes out for the PC. Then my free time will officially be stuck in this chair.

yeah, the reviews are so-so.
i love sandbox video games. i love the environments. living breathing cities.
i don't like how tedious they can get though.
as far as video games today. there are plenty of good ones out there. fallout 3 is spectacular and fallout vegas looks like a possible competitor to goty for rdr.

Yeah I loved Fallout 3 and am looking forward to Fallout: New Vegas.
I just mean that there is no ground breaking games out there anymore really. Like when Grand Theft Auto 3 came out and revolutionized video gaming. I am just waiting for soemthing new to come out because gaming is getting a little old to me.

Fallout3 lost me after I died so many freaking times. It's a great game though. The gameplay is very deep, the story is good, and the environment is HUGE. Las or New Vegas does not appeal to me for some reason.
I won't even rent Mafia II. I'll just wait for GTAV in 2011 and hope I will not haave to drive my buddies to play darts or bowl.
I'll probably purchase Black Ops and LittleBigPlanet 2 in November if they get good reviews. Other than that, I still have many games to play.
