What's everyone think of the new Google search where it brings up results before hitting the search button? I like it a lot.

I like it.

This week they've been doing a few things leading up to this - https://www.dawgtalkers.net/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/727547/an/0/page/0#Post727547

Fascinating.

I wish I would have invested in Google back in '04.

Wow.....but when you backspace and change a word, you still have to hit enter. So it's not truly automatic in every way. But it's still freaking great!

A friend of a friend took a job as junior code guy at facebook and instead of taking the bigish bucks he took less money and stock options for the difference instead. This was 6 weeks before they were bought by google for 25 billion. The kid was 23 years old, two years out of school and is now basically set.

Don't see how it's any different than predictive texting

I've only tried it a few times and I find it somewhat annoying.. Maybe I just need to get used to it.

I use iGoogle with things set up I want to see regularly, so I don't get the search list until I hit enter.

I use iGoogle as well, but I noticed the change one I'd actually searched for something. It kinda caught me off guard there for a second.

Daniel Tosh on Google:

"I hate you Google. You’ve caused a lot of problems in my relationship. I share a computer with my girlfriend. She’ll look up anything. “I’m going to look up apples today.” She just hits “A.” It’s like, “Asian Ass Porn” instantly. Google’s like, “I’ll take it from here. I know exactly what you’re looking up. Any time you hit A it’s ‘Asian Ass Porn.’” Google, all I ask is you let her type three letters before you come to such a bold conclusion. "
