haven't posted anything in a while, so I'm not sure if the link works....

seems young Mr. Pryor is worrying about the wrong things this close to kickoff.

OSU football: Don't boo LeBron, Pryor pleads
It's still not clear whether LeBron James is going to make the scene on Saturday afternoon for the Ohio State-Miami game in Ohio Stadium, but until further notice, OSU quarterback Terrelle Pryor expects him to show.

"I think he is, actually, but I'm not sure," Pryor said today. "I haven't talked to him since after the Marshall game" Thursday night.

Asked whether he expected James to root for Ohio State, Pryor quickly said, "He's a Buckeye."

But the question needed to be asked, because in June the basketball star originally from Akron disappointed many in his fan base when he said he was leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers in favor of joining the Miami Heat.

"If LeBron does come, just treat him with respect, and respect his decision," Pryor said. "Please, no name calling, or booing, or anything like that. Because that's my mentor, and I've got a lot of respect for him, a lot of love for him."

DeVier Posey said he told Pryor this summer that after James opted to take his "talents to South Beach" and join the Heat, Pryor is now the No.1 sports name in the state of Ohio.

"It could be true in some manner," Pryor said, smiling as if slightly embarrassed. "Buckeye football is huge. I found that out the past two years. I still believe in them being the most powerful fans.

"Anywhere I go you hear 'O-H', and they notice me where ever I go. I was in Florida for a little vacation, in Key West, and everywhere I went, even in the air station, they said 'O-H,' and they said 'Hi, Terrelle.' We've got a big fan base, and it's very appreciated."

If they show LeBron on the scoreboard it'd be nice if no one did anything.

Exactly. LBJ is doing this to be able to set foot in the state of Ohio. I think he honestly thinks the "decision" crap will blow over and he will be welcome with open arms at home again. He is also a grade A attention whore.

The best thing to do is nothing.........don't let him have the satisfaction.

yea, that's my fault....the article was followed by tons of reader feedback and many claimed the attention freak would be donning Cane's gear on the sideline just to stoke the fire a little more. sorry if it threw anyone off, it was pure speculation..

if you're terrelle pryor or ohio state, publicly asking the fans not to boo or chant names is really dumb.

if you're terrelle pryor or ohio state the best way to keep the fans from boing or chanting lbj is to crush miami. nobody will care about lebron if you are winning.

if they're too busy cheering their team, they won't.

and while you know abc/espn will constantly show lbj, because they know it will twist the knife, the folks at the stadium might not even really notice.

If you want lbj to wear Buckeye gear then the best way to do that is if you are winning too... LeBron will probably wear no hat in the first half but have a Canes hat and a Buckeyes hat nearby to wear depending on who is winning at halftime.. that frontrunning piece of crap wouldn't be seen wearing a hat with the losing team on it...

First thought I had when I read all that yesterday...If I'm the Buckeyes I'm 1) telling Pryor that saying you're really good friends with a guy who owns a sports marketing firm and has spent a good portion of the past few months in the headlines is probably not a wise choice to make, and 2) launching an investigation right now to ensure that Terrelle isn't getting money or benefits in some way from LRMR. Not even letting LeBron's cronies pick up his cab fare or buy him a Big Mac. We've seen what high-profile college players and their involvement with wealthy influential people leads to. The last thing the Buckeyes need is to have a great season (or more) vacated because Terrelle Pryor wanted to be chummy with LeBron James.

If something like that were to happen the hatred of LeBron in Ohio would increase 100 fold.

Stuff like this will get more attention soon. Seems to be a thin line LBJ is walking when being around student athletes.

As for Pryor, The Sweater Vest needs to make some things clear to him so he doesn't stumble.
