I wish we had a guy like this on defense... just click on the link and watch. Probably the most underrated guy on offense, if not our entire team.

I really do like watching Vickers and Hillis work/play together. I don't care if it is for 2 yards. They blow defenses up! IMO they are one of the best tandems I have seen in professional football. I know they are the most enjoyable to watch.

Vickers is a man . Plain & simple. I hope we make him a Cleveland Brown for the rest of his career. Vickers & Cribbs are exactly what I want out of a pro football player. If only we could clone their attitudes...

Glad we have Vickers on this team.

You can tell how passionate he is about his craft.

As someone else has said before, it's almost mean for us to have Vickers blocking for Hillis. I almost feel bad for defenses. Almost.

I always said if I played football, I would want to be a fullback. I don't want the ball, I'd just want to hit people.

If I were to get a Jersey, his number is of only a handful of people I'd consider.

Dude is awesome.

I was just about to say.. I'm against cloning but if we could clone Vickers and put about 40-50 more pounds on him, I'll take Vickers 1, 2, and 3 on the OL..

I'm not going to lie. It's likely I will not be able to sleep tonight with the concern that Vickers is going to break in my house and destroy me.

I have to say that is one of the best interviews ever. Wow!

And when I think of NFL FB Vickers is the only one who pops into my mind.

I know there's a million reasons 'not' to do this, but I would love for a movie script to have this play at least:

1. Don't line up a RG. Just leave the spot open.
2. FB just points to the DT there before the play.
3. Full speed running fullback into the DT for a vicious collision.

(of course, if it were in a movie the DT would magically fly off his feet and go about 20 yards in the air backwards before doing a double flip and landing on his feet and making a tackle downfield)

I love watching Vickers just destroy people.

This is what has me excited about watching the Browns' offense this year:

It might not be the prettiest, or score the most points, or get the most yards, but opposing defenses are going to have to tighten their chin-straps before the play us, because they know Vickers, Hillis, and our O-line are going to be hitting them all day. That's what Cleveland Browns' football has always been about, going all the way back to Paul Brown.

And it brings a smile to my face

The kind of guy you just love to have on your team.. the kind of guy that makes you want to fight for that extra yard as the ball carrier because if he's going to go all out on every play like that to get me a crease.. darn it I'm not going down..

That does it! Clone. This. Man. He is in-freekin'-credible! He and Hillis are the Punisher and the Sequel. I would hate to spend the day in front of this pair. Like a flash-bang grenade going off when he lights people up.

I like it. Too many fullbacks are called 'battering ram' or the like.

I'm going to pickup where you started and start calling Vickers 'The Grenade' just for the visualization of people getting leveled whereever he is thrown.

Probably my favorite player on the team.

If I knew he's going to stick around and I could find it, he'll be my next jersey.

Follow #47, follow him to the house. I really think we're gonna run the ball down people's throats, setting offensive football back a half-century.

Great video, thanks for posting.

Good to see you guys finally coming around and getting a seat on the Vickers bandwagon, we saved you some seats

Got my Vickers jersey in the mail on Thursday, gonna be sporting it tomorrow. Was a hard choice to change from my Joe Thomas jersey but this is the one guy who can make me do it.

And I was his biggest fan before this interview, now I really can't wait for the season to start. He's a little bit crazier than I originally thought, I have to admit. But its not a bad thing

Here were some quotes I loved, and I'm paraphrasing since I had to copy the quotes from the video...

On what he wants people to think when he sees people play, since the Fullback position isn't typically a position in the limelight: "When people see me play, I want them to think: Oh... their fullback is the truth!"

Regarding his attitude toward the game: "This is a fun game, it's fun! This is supposed to be fun, it's not supposed to be our job. Just so happens it is, so you have to take it seriously, but you can't take the fun out of it.

I always tell guys, 'we gotta go back to the days when we was just doin it. We're not thinking about money, or who's watching us or what we're going to be rated on madden. It's about us going out there and playing this game like it's all we got."

THAT is what I want to see out of EVERY football player on our team. I love how he approaches the game and how seriously he takes the duties of his position. He knows that its not his job to go out there and score touchdowns, he takes a lot of joy knowing he makes big plays happen when he does his job right.

I loved when he was talking about Linebackers and how 'its their job to get tackles' and its his job to disrupt that. What a great interview. Thanks for sharing that.

I would love to see the fans create some kind of tribute to him at the stadium. Something like Charlies Frys, but not that cheesy. Something like "Vickers Road Crew" and have like a bulldozer pictured rolling over linebackers. Just something to show the love we have for his play. Seeing a bunch of 47 jerseys would help too.
