As for Harrison
if we DON"T trade him...he will be gone after this year anyways with no compensation
.
Is Harrison a 6 year pro yet?
The reason I ask is because didn't hey make a deal saying that until the CBA is agreed upon all impending free agents will be RFA unless they have 6 years experience or better.

you can find many of them...in this photo he is with the NFL Commisioner touring camp.
Mike Holmgren Training Camp Photo
What does the card on the Front of Holmgrens cart say?
It DOES NOT say:
President Holmgren GM Holmgren VP Holmgren Big Cheese Holmgren
it says COACH HOLMGREN
Now if he was just merely going to be the President..don't you think it would say "President Holmgren, Mike Holmgren, or Mr Holmgren"? Yes it would..but it says "Coach Holmgren"
Then he needs to learn to be more subtle.. what does the sign on Mangini's office door say? "Dead Coach Walking" ???
Seriously, some people that have been coaches for a long time carry that term around almost like a first name....
I'm not even saying he won't coach.. I'm just saying that is pretty flimsy evidence of a grand conspiracy..

Yes I would like to have Spiller, but were crying over split milk
What's with the this WE stuff ,,, I ain't cryin at all..

...so Far Haden has played well so its not a total loss or anything yet...spiller only had what 7 carries last week? not like he really got a chance to do anything...on the flipside Haden gave up a TD but so what...he looked good outside of that...you can't win them all....
Spiller will be a fine RB for years, we'd have been alright had we chosen him I'm sure. I can't judge a Rookie RB after one game any more than a Rookie CB can be judged after one game..

I am just saying if we tank to KC...we could be looking at a huge slide here...0-9 1-8...lets just say if that happens...I wouldn't even want to be a fly on the wall in Berea...Holmgren will be ticked beyond ticked...it won't be pretty...
If If If.. Geesh.. I bet you that if I shoot someone for no reason and admit to doing it, I'd have to serve time in Jail or worse.. IF IF IF
If we go 0-16 I have little doubt that your prediction of doom for mangini would be right on the money.. few, if any head coaches would survive an 0-16 season..
We get it, you hate the guy,, but yelling it from the rooftops ain't gonna make it so.....

My opinion is and has been.. corners worthy of the 7th pick aren't in every draft.. I'm glad we got one that is worthy of it.. running backs can be found late in round one or even in two and sometimes three.. And Davis and Hardesty are similar to Spiller, we had nothing similar to Haden...
I wouldn't mind having Spiller either but in this instance I believe we made the right pick.. with Wright, Haden, Ward.. our secondary could go from a major weakness last year to a major strength in a year or two with that young talent.. especially if this offseason we can go them some pass rushers to take some of the pressure off them..

I've heard players refer to him as coach Holmgren as well when doing interviews. I bet they know something. Even Colt McCoys dad knows something Quote:
July 30, 2010 “Obviously, he was a star in college like he was in high school and feels like he could play,” Brad McCoy said. “He's a competitor and always wants to be the best, but he understands where he is and what coach Holmgren's wishes are. LINK
Colt knew even before he was drafted
Quote:
April 20, 2010 "I absolutely enjoyed Coach Holmgren," McCoy said. "He is a class act and I could definitely see myself playing in their organization. I think that it would be a tremendous opportunity and they have a lot of good things going for them. Coach Mangini and their staff have been awesome.
"Coach Holmgren kind of compared me to Steve Young and Joe Montana and just said that I have the intangibles they had at this point in their careers when they were coming out of college. He expects me to be just like they were. LINK

Just because Colonel Sanders was call "Colonel" didn't mean he was getting ready to reenlist. "Coach" is a title that men in the football profession hold in high esteem. I hear men refer to one another as Coach all the time and it is a term of respect.

Jerome Harrison is in the last year of his contract.
We should ship them Harrison
I like Harrison, but we don't want to give him a chance so lets see how he does on a playoff team!

Living in Wisconsin and having watched my fair share of Packers games over the past 4 years I would say that he is no better then what we already have and that's not saying much

That's because "Coach" is the way he wants to be referred to. He's said all along that he's an "old coach", and that's what he responds to.
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
John 14:19 Jesus said: Because I live, you also will live.

exactly why it's not a big deal.. Hell, I remember when he was interviewed by a Seattle radio station just after his visit with Randy Lerner.. the announcers called him coach there also,,,

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

The guy hasn't played well in the 3-4 defense, he should go to a 4-3 team. Also his trade value right now is about nil, I dont forsee a team giving up a 4th for him.
