Well, I'm gonna get my butt kicked for this on here.,, but any group or party that puts sarah Palin out front is idiotic in my eyes.. You can't put that kinda foolish person out front and expect people to take you seriously, She isn't trying to heal anything,, she's trying to make a buck and she's doing it by making stuff up.. (remember death panels) This is not a woman you can trust. she's a damn fool and yet, people want to follow her.. But hey, if you like them,, vote for thier candidates.. As for me, I'm writing in "none of the above" on everything

So then you know that when the market collapsed in '29 which led to the great depression, in large part because of the government response... so this time we had the housing market/banking collapse and the government response was exactly the same and now nobody can figure out why recovery is taking so long... a bunch of idiots

Given that you do not understand the phrase "straw that broke the camel's back", I am certain that further explanation in this regard will be lost on you as well.
Carry on.

Comparing Obama and Palin is a joke. Come on. Maybe you don't like his politics, but Obama is Winston Churchill compared to Palin. Palin may be intelligent, she may be a good speaker, but she's a politic midget comparatively.
I'd bet my life that Palin v. Obama in 2012 would be a landslide for Obama.

Ironically - while not saying anything about Palin, I would say Obama is a political midget.
He can't get over the fact that he's not as loved as he once thought he was.
He's calling his own party out.
He's trying to rally his "troops", by telling them they need to get out and vote otherwise we'll be "going back".......
Obama is a great reader - not speaker. And, in true chicago style politics - he gets ticked if people don't follow what he says.
Ever hear O speak without his teleprompter? He has more "uhs", "ohs", and "ums" than anyone I've ever heard speak.
He does love him some golf though, doesn't he? And vacations.
And yet Palin worries people? She doesn't even hold an office - and people are worried about her?

it's pointed at Groups or parties,,No individuals. I took no cheap shot at any individual as did DC... and I have to say this.. DC is about that last person I'd ever think would stoop to name calling... I'm still kinda in shock.. we've disagreed many many times, but wow.. that just shocked me..

What DC said was not a cheap shot at the president. It is the truth. I'm not saying it's a good truth or a bad truth - but if you speak the truth about someone, it is not a slam. It is the truth.
Obama, without a teleprompter, is lost when speaking publicly.

Feel free to begin listing Winston Obama's political accomplisments before becoming President.. heck for that matter good luck finding some to list AFTER he became President... ready, start now.. go...

Obama is a better orator and is probably considerably more academically intelligent than Palin.. but he is a political trainwreck. He is a leftist idealogue that makes the Tea Party look almost centrist.
With a sizeable victory on election day and absolute control of both houses he STILL couldn't get most of his agenda through and what he did get through was with considerable fight.. the man is not a leader. He was in over his head the day he started and it has been all downhill since.

Anyone that would even venture into a comparison of the intelligence of Obama v. Palin has to be considered a mentally inept. I needed a laugh today, thanks DC.... Obama has political weakness, he is not a ruthless plotter, or twister of the facts. He does not get enough credit for being credible. I enjoy the break from the scandals, and lies of GWB.

"I'll make sure that our government is open and transparent so that anyone can be sure that our business is The Peoples' business" (Transparent as a brick wall)
As President I am going to make it impossible for lobbyists or Congressmen to slip pork barrel projrcts or corporate welfare into laws when no one is looking" (They'll just do it with blatant disregard for who's looking)
"Whan I'm President, meetings where laws are written will be more open to the public. No more secrecy. That's a commitment I make to you as President." (Umm .... OK, maybe not so much ......)
"When there's a bill that ends up on my desk as President, you, the public, will have 5 days to look online, and find out what's in it, before I sign it." (You can look ... no one is stopping you ...... finding it however ...... well .....Oops, Mibad)
"... and we will put every tax break, and every pork barrel project online for every American to see. You will know who asked for them, and you can decide whether your representative's actually representing you." (Guess that ones on that secret internet where you need the top secret decoder ring to find it .......)
Obama is a pretty solid twister of facts. He also is pretty dumb where he's not reading a speech, or reciting from a teleprompter. Watch how he flusters and fumbles when someone throws him a question that he hasn't been drilled on. (Like "Why are you a Christian?")
Why does he hide from the press? I mean, he's had a very loyal friend in much of the press .... yet he hides from then and gives speeches ....but rarely gives press›conferences. Why? Well, I can see why. He flubs and fumbles questions from ordinary people .... so it might get embarassing if he got a really hard questions from a seasoned professional.
So .... bottom line is that he's either lied about a great many things .... or has just been inept. As far as being "smart" ... I don't buy it. I don't think that he's dumb .... but I don't thinnk that his intelligence matches his oratory skill by any stretch of the imagination. He's great in a prepared environment ..... but put him in a situation where he has to think on his feet and he's lost.
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

Here are some more.... http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/A complete tracking of Obama.... Perfect, obviously not. Look at the critique you gave, a number of those items are under the direct control of Congress, not the president. Why would you hide from the press? That is a pretty smart strategy these days with the 24 hour talking heads, picking at every move. As far as his answers... You learn to choose your words very carefully when in an environment where every word matters. When he has a memorized line, or statement of position it flows quite easily. But he is often in a unenviable position of when where if you make a mistatement, you will spend the next week trying to contain the media circus... Remember Beer-gate? Is his position more concise than most of the Republicans? You can decide by spending the next few hours by diagraming a Palin sentence.
Welcome back, Joe, we missed you!

Democrats lambasted Palin for her stumbles in some interviews .... and explain away Obama's.
Sorry ... can't have it both ways. Neither one is very good at speaking while thinking on their feet.
Here's another bad signs for President Obama. I like in one of the more solidly Democrat areas in the country. I know a lot of people who were all fired up for Obama in the last election.
"Why?" I would ask.
"Because he's gonna change things"
OK .. so here we are almost 2 years later. Is the enthusiasm still there?
Not really.
Why
Because a lot of people liked Obama ... they were inspired by him .... and voted for him in spite of his agenda because they never thought it would get passed.
Now they're horrified.
Trust me .... this isn't 1 or 2 people .... as you can imagine, I express my opinions fairly openly, and get into a ton of political discussions as a result.
The polls that show that if Bush ran against Obama today, Bush would win Ohio? I believe them.
One of the funnier things I have seen lately is that the Republicans are calling for extending the "Bush Tax Cuts" ..... while many Democrats are now calling them everything but the Bush Tax Cuts.
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

Take a far left extremist movement and I'll say they are worse also..

Absolutely baffling to me how you can have Bush and Obama, who govern in strikingly similar fashion ... and yet the perception is night and day.
You never had such harsh words for Bush ... and I've yet to see mac stick it to Obama ... and the game goes on and on and on.

Honest answer,, no. but he's obviously a strong leaner to the left. just as Bush was a strong leaner to the right. I didn't see Bush as an extremist either...and I don't believe he was. but you can bet some on the far left think he was.
