I honestly hate LeDouche. No way in the world anyone could have convinced me that I'd feel that way just 3 months ago.

I hate him, his family, his friends, his team - anything associated with him. Amazing.

me too. I hope he gets hit by a bus.

That's just cruel.. I think we really need to help LeBron out.. We shouldn't hold any grudges against him. I say we start by putting him and Braylon Edwards together to mend their fences with a few beers..

This is unbelievable.

LBJ is truly a selfish jackass.....

You devote an hour long special to sticking it to Cleveland. you leave our whole franchise in the dark and leave us high and dry with absolutely ZERO notice. And you try to pass it off as a charity event.

Then when that doesn't work to calm the storm, you claim that people are mad at you b/c you are a black man?!?!!?

Really???

Here's a novel point I have been thinking about....

LBJ, during "The Decision," had said that him moving to Miami was the best thing for Lebron and his family.......

Really?!?!?

Doesn't your baby-mama still reside in Akron/Cleveland area with your kids?!?

Since when is it best for daddy to be spending ALL his time in Miami and on the road??

Since when is an absentee father better for the kids?!?!?

I guess its better for LBJ though. I guess he really wanted to show that he is a bad father too.....LOL.

What a huge tool. He will get his. Karma will get him in the long run.

And its too bad too... cuz he really had it made here. Until he let his priorities get all screwed up and walked himself right out of basketball royalty and into the land of every other screw-up sports anti-hero.

Yea.....his blackness really gets me angry....

That was hilarious. Made me LOL...i hate that bozo as well.

I'm actually really looking forward to this season. I never thought this would ever happen to me - like less than 1% - but I have become a Kobe Bryant fan. He's our hope at preventing a LBJ championship. I look forward to rooting for a real champion and a guy that's always going to find a way to pull it out in the end.

What LBJ championship? Even if the Heat wins the Championship this yera.. it's not even LBJ's team.. it's Wade's.. and the only reason why LBJ would have been on a championship team with the Heat is because he shares the court with other Tier 1 superstars on the same team. In the end, he won't be winning the championship...He'll just be a member of a championship team.

He will never be like The Bulls' Jordan or the Celtic's Bird or the Laker's Magic/Kobe.. He's going to be a little footnote no matter how much he tries to claim he won the championship.

Stay tuned for the two hour Soledad O'Brien CNN special on how race forced the Decision!.... The Racism card is getting worn out these days. I don't care what race you are... IF YOU SUCK , YOU SUCK!

My Dad and I were talking about this this morning, and it got me mad all over again.

I think the thing that makes me most mad is that claims like this which seem so totally frivolous really cheapen racism. Let me explain.

There is very blatant racism out there, I don't think anyone will deny that. There are people who are discriminated again. I don't think anyone will deny that.

But, there are also a lot of people who look for an excuse to explain their shortcomings. "I got fired from my job because I'm black/hispanic/woman, not because I got caught stealing money from the company safe."

So, when you hear these goofballs claim racism, you become desensitized to it. So, when someone comes forward with a true racism allegation, you dismiss it as being outrageous.

It's like the people at the Browns' games who drink too much, get in fights, and act like idiots. When it gets so out of control, the organization might ban alcohol at the Stadium (just using this as an analogy). So, the multitude of people who drink responsibly, don't act like idiots, and behave themselves get punished.

That's what makes me the most upset. You're ruining it for people who really need it.

That famous racist Charles Barkley weighs in .......

On a serious side note ..... can anyone believe how well James hid who he really is from everyone in Cleveland? Maybe we, as fans, didn't want to see ..... but I sure can't remember this much really stupid stuff coming out of his mouth while he was in Cleveland.

Charles Barkley calls it like it is: LeBron James' whining is 'stupid'
Published: Saturday, October 02, 2010, 4:45 AM Updated: Saturday, October 02, 2010, 4:51 AM

HURLBURT FIELD, Fla. — LeBron James thought he put the race issue to rest Thursday at Miami Heat camp when he said, "I think people are looking too far into it."

But seemingly as long as Charles Barkley is given a platform to pontificate on all things LeBron, James seemingly never will have the last word.

Interviewed Friday on WIP radio in Philadelphia, Barkley needed little prodding when it came to James discussing race in relation to the reaction to his decision to leave the Cavaliers as a free agent.

"It's like watching a movie," said Barkley, the Hall of Fame power forward. "Just when you think it couldn't get any stupider, it gets more stupid."

In an appearance on Wednesday night's edition of "Primetime" on CNN, James replied that he thought race was a factor in the ugly backlash.

"I think so, at times," he told CNN correspondent Soledad O'Brien. "It's always, you know, a race factor."

A day after that interview aired, James declined to expand on the issue.

"I'm not going to go back on my words," he said Thursday. "I answered the question. I think people are looking too far into it. But, at the same time, sometimes it does play a part in it."

James was not asked to revisit the issue Friday.

But Barkley was more than willing to continue what has become a three-month assault on the way James handled his free agency.

"Sometimes," Barkley said, "you just say he's making bad decisions and you're like, 'OK, he's gonna get it together.' Then he makes more bad decisions."

Barkley said James utilizing a one-hour special on ESPN to announce his decision "was just stupid." He called the Heat's ensuing gala celebration at AmericanAirlines Arena "silly."

"That has nothing to do with race," Barkley said of those who offered similar assessments. "That's what makes this last thing so stupid."

Barkley, who works for cable network rival TNT, also criticized ESPN's intense focus on Heat training camp.

"To go down to training camp and report every day is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen," Barkley said. "I'm watching yesterday and one of the guys actually said 'LeBron looked fierce in practice.' I'm like, 'Fierce in practice? What the hell does that mean?' He was fierce in the second day of training camp?

"This summer with LeBron and all the stuff that went on is like a bad movie."

I usually tune out Charles Barkley, because he has had his fair share of stupid and racial comments. Kind of funny that James continues to get ripped by Barkley.

I was just a casual NBA fan before, i doubt i'll even watch a minute of it this year. Unless somone can guarantee the game he blows his ACL, i would probably tune into that one.

I don't like the NBA game, so I guess I was looking at James through "different eyes" than most Cavs' fans, but I never got the feeling he wanted to be here. I recall being roasted pretty well-done for objecting to his well-publicized appearance at an Indians' playoff series - in Cleveland - wearing a Yankees hat. It wasn't that I gave a rip whether he was a Yanks fan, it was the upstaging of his hometown team and its fans, in their own house, at what was a very special and rare event for us. National spotlight, packed house, the drama of post-season baseball, in a town starving for a winner, and there was our towns biggest sports luminary ... supporting the opponent. Ditto the Browns monday night game vs Dallas, standing on the opponents' sideline, decked out in Cowboys gear ... telling the world "I am not one of them.", telling us "I am not one of you.". Actually, it was pretty clear for quite a while that James wished to distance himself from Cleveland, not because he was a Yankee fan, or a Cowboy fan, but because he never minded rubbing our noses in it by putting himself in the spotlight at our expense. "The Decision" debacle, and now the charges of racism are just icing on the cake.

Damon and other on this board,
The problem with Lebron and alot of kids in this generation, is when they have some exceptional talent, be it athletic, book smarts, what ever it is, NO ONE tells them NO!!!! So then once they get to be young adults, they think the whole world should cater to them.

LeBron since he was in High School has been given darn near everything he wanted. He leaves high school, joins the pros and still, everybody is catering to him. ESPECIALLY the media, and the cavs idiot owner!! ( I know some of you all just love him for that rant, but that showed how much of a retard he was also!!). When S.Ferry and M.Brown tried to put some controls on Lebron and his buddies, it was the Cavs owner who told them to back off. When Lebron did stupid stuff like not shaking hands..etc after a game, people came to his defense, instead of correcting him.

SO fast forward to being asked a question about his decision and race, he answers it with the only excuse he will get from all of his yes men, hangers on..etc around him. "Lebron, the only reason people hate you now is because you made a decision about your free agency." "They (meaning society)" does not want you to be able to think",,etc is what he is hearing from the people around him. THERE IS NOT ONE PERSON around him that his telling him, "Lebron, it is classless to go on TV and shovel crap on the city that put you on their shoulders"! Since everyone blows smoke up his back-side, no one tells him, "Hey, your being a butt-hole". He has no idea that ESPN, Jim Gray and his dim-witted buddies talked him into a punk move like that and the backlash against him.

And as for those other poster who talk about stuart scott. Please, ESPN is the one's who put that "Decision" crap together. Jim Gray was the one who put that stuff together. Please, It was all those fools at ESPN who hyped this non-sense to no end and was complicit in crapping on Cleveland.

I would add to that though: It's not just lbj, it's MOST pro athletes, but primarily NBA and NFL pro's that have that attitude. Not all, but many.

Whether you believe Charles Barkley is a racist or not he's a straight shooter and his opinion in non-race matters carries a ton of weight. He says what everyone wants to say but doesn't. And he has been dead on the mark when it comes to LBJ. I actually hope they bump into each other in a bar and Barkley throws him through a window.

It's obvious that LeBron had no affection for Cleveland as a youngster. He pulled for the winner - the Yankees, the Cowboys ... I think he sees Akron and Cleveland as being on opposite coasts. They are that far away in his mind. I don't think anyone could have jumped to the conclusion that he would leave Cleveland based on his wearing other city's jerseys at Cleveland sporting events but it does offer a little bit of insight into why he made his final decision.

What I was hoping for was a little maturity - that regardless of his real feelings for Cleveland that he saw how much the city needed him and he would honor the sense of responsibility that comes with that. But that just didn't carry a lot of weight with him and that speaks to who he is as a person and/or a certain maturity level he hasn't attained and may never.

He has been beloved on a very grand scale since he was sixteen years old. In his mind, I really think he thought that would continue. He was clueless to the reality and the gravity of the situation, and you could see it in his eyes when they showed him the jerseys burning.

He truly had no clue -- in his mind, he thought that he would continue to be beloved by all, and now that he's being scorned by all, he just can't handle it.

I expect him to continue to be make asinine remarks while he struggles to comprehend what he's done.

In all of this I missed the part where LeBron was stripped of his free will.

In reality, what LeBron failed to was recognize the distinction between "LeBron James fans" and "Cleveland Cavaliers" fans. LeBron fan doesn't care where he plays or who he plays with. He wants to see LeBron win, put up gaudy numbers and make highlight reels. LeBron fan argues that Clevelanders are stupid because LeBron has the right to sign wherever he wants to by virtue of being a free agent. And sometimes, unfortunately, LeBron fan tries to paint the issue as the billionaire white man trying to control the black man.

Cavs fan, on the other hand, cared about LeBron inasmuch as he wore a Cavaliers jersey, but beyond that isn't too concerned about him. Cavs fan doesn't care about LeBron's individual successes and personal achievements; he wants to see the Cavs win a championship. Cavs fan may be upset that LeBron has decided to take his talents to South Beach, but Cavs fan's real grievance with LeBron isn't that he left, but the manner in which he did so (which doesn't really require much expounding upon). LeBron fan is often myopic in his view and fails to understand the reason behind Cavs fan's feelings.

LeBron's second biggest mistake (after signing on for "The Decision") was and continues to be his inability to distinguish between Cavs fan and LeBron fan, believing instead that they were always one and the same.

That's because LeBron identifies with the LeBron Fan. That's how he's patterned his affiliations. People understand what they identify with and usually don't understand what they don't identify with.

Maturity helps with that. I always thought LeBron was a guy that was mature beyond his years. He's not.

I don't think it's that he was able to "hide" anything, I think it was just that it wasn't reported and hence we didn't know. No one can hide the level of ignorance he's shown in the past several months for a decade.

In retrospect, I guess I should have seen it more like some of you have said here with the Yankee hat and the Cowboy sideline... but I just took it as "free country, he can like who he wants" instead of "man, he really does hate Cleveland". It makes perfect sense now.

And I'm sure "club guy" around town - be it Akron or Cleveland - saw what a douche he was but how would the rest of us know if nothing was talked about or reported on? I know the media couldn't bite the hand that fed them - but does anyone remember Juy 9th, 10th and so on?... Every single media member said something along these lines - "just wait till the real stories come out in the coming days and weeks". Well, I'm still waiting. The local media dropped the ball when he was here and continues to do so even with his talents now in South Beach. It's sad really.

The only difference is that now he actually opens his mouth on camera and we can plainly see what a douche he is. He can't hide the ignorance anymore.

I have always been a Cavs and NBA fan, never just a LeBron Fan,...whatever that is. But this whole thing now has disgusted me to the point where I won't be watching the NBA anymore at all. Cut off my nose to spite my own face, I know, but I've had enough of this charade.

I was there with you not long ago, but I've come around to watching Cavs games this season. After all, those guys like Mo Williams who truly love playing in Cleveland (he practically begged publicly not to be traded away, how can you not like the guy for that?) need our support.

don't forget Bulls and Seminoles.

the last one is important not to forget as he tries to re-win over fans outside of Cleveland (but in Ohio) with his stupid stuff on ESPN about how he's a 100% Buckeye fan. don't be fooled, he's a Bobby Bowden fan. or at least was until they started to be not so good.

I doubt LeBron will even try to pretend that he's a Buckeye fan with the way they snubbed him when he wanted to attend the game against Miami. He asked for a full police escort. They told him they "might be able to" have an officer with him.

Look for him to be in Dolphins or Marlins gear at the game tonight.

Of course he's still a buckeye fan ... they're one of the top ranked schools in the country! Now if OSU gets hit with USC-like sanctions for some reason ... I'd full expect him to be in Gator gear a week later.

he wouldn't be a buckeye fan if 2002 never happened.

he wouldn't be a Buckeye fan if LRMR wasn't trying to sign Pryor.

(that's actually my biggest fear right now. that the Bucks win the national title, but then have to vacate it down the road because Pryor did something stupid with LRMR. talk about LeBron getting himself hated even more in Ohio)

Quoted for truth. I'm hoping that Terrell goes the way of John Wall and spurns LRMR.

You're too much man....

I haven't seen you on here much lately.

Been very busy with work

and Labron RACE has nothing to do with it. People tend to get upset when they get stabbed in the back on national TV no matter what color the guy holding the knife is you idiot.

If all those "crackers" were burning his jersey while he was here, I might agree with him.....but they weren't...they were cheering him.

At this point my thinking says he is the bigot.....sorry punk.

N word applies to him..

Time to move on from that punk.

Something tells me he thinks like that morning, noon, and night.

Nope....no regret.

As for Mats comment, I do....but not the way you seem to think.

I really have no room for bigoted people, and LBJ has shown me that is exactly what he is.

For years the fans supported the guy. Nobody I know of cared about anything other than he was their guy and loved him.

Now he moves on and LBJ says the fans reaction is racially motivated?? Give me a break....

I think you are pointing your finger at the wrong guy.

LeBron James is a lot of things, mostly negative, but that doesn't mean you can point your finger at him and call him the N word and then be flabbergasted when fingers are then pointed at you. What did you expect to happen?

What?

James is a nincompoop.

Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

John 14:19 Jesus said: Because I live, you also will live.
