Poor Afcnorthchamps indeed!  Now the Ref's are on your case. Did they not see the Afc North Champs riding in convertibles through downtown Baltimore during their victory parade? For crying out loud you guys made the playoffs. What other team can ever say that in their lifetime? One day my purple clad friend. One day you WILL get the respect that is due to you. They dont know the sacrifice and the things you have gone through for your team. -Multiple Grimace and Barney shirts -Hours spent arguing with crazy Atl fans over whose nickname should be the "dirty birds" -Saving your pee all week in containers so you can turn it into the Ravens training facility every Friday for there weekly urine swap for drug tests. etc. etc. These people have no idea. Thats why I sometimes say Poor Afcnorthchamps. damn.

Clown Hunter, I have read all of your posts about what an accomplishment it is for the Ravens to make the playoffs. I admit, I naively laughed at almost every one of them. That was because I thought you were being sarcastic.
Now that I have given the matter more thought, I suddenly realize that you are being absolutely serious. After all, when you consider the fact that only 12 teams out of 32 make the playoffs, you are talking about a staggeringly small number. Only 37.5% of the teams in the league each year are awarded the title Playoff Qualifier while the other 62.5% of teams are left to wonder what might have been.
Imagine you ordered a cup of hot chocolate and the waitress only filled it about 60% of the way full. That cup would look pretty empty, huh? But then imagine that they filled the cup the rest of the way with tasty whipped cream. Mmmmmm.... Now even though the one-and-done Ravens represent the very bottom layer of that cream - the "whipped cream scum" some might say, the playoff team that melted away instantly under the weight of the better teams, still what would you rather be? Whipped cream or hot chocolate?
So here I am standing beside you, my Clown Hunting brother! I also salute the Baltimore Ravens: The Whipped Cream Scum of the NFL.

THE RAVENS ARE THE CHAMPIONS OF GETTING TO THE PLAYOFFS. They get all of the perks that getting to the playoffs affords. - They get to play one more week before playing golf in the offseason. - They get the honor of picking later in the draft. Who the hell wants to go first? Sit back and relax. Let the players come to you. - The plethora of Afc North Champion gear and paraphernalia. Who else can sport the Official Afc North Champions Douche kit? I'll come clean here. I was pretending that I thought CH was joking. I was just envious of the Ravens making the playoffs.
Not that it means anything, but did they win a playoff game? I quit watching football after the regular season, because by then I know who achieved the ultimate prize and made the playoffs. Those meaningless games that follow are a waste of time.

Thank you dawglover and Jfan! AFCNORTHCHAMPS! More and more are seeing the light! We are converting more to your way of thinking. "Make the Playoffs" . . . . uh... thats it. I have already started ground breaking on the New AFC NORTH CHURCH OF CHAMPIONS! Oh its going to be awesome! The pews are going to be sickly purple. Stained glass windows will depict the thugs of old. One will be Oj-Ray in cuffs. Another will be Jailmal Lewis on a cell phone making a drug deal. etc. . . Our first guest speaker? You guessed it!  The man ( i think ) the myth the legend. PRINCE. Afcnorthchamps. Finally you and your cell mates will have a place to go where you do not have to worry about a fan from another team stabbing you in the back.
