Wow. Where exactly did he say that terrorists didn't attack America and that we are at war with Islam?
Watch the video.
The article has part of it posted:
More heated crosstalk followed, until O'Reilly said, "Muslims killed us on 9/11!" That really set Behar and Goldberg off.
"Oh my God!" Behar said.
"That is such ...!" Goldberg said. "Extremists did that!"
Behar then stood up, saying, "I don't want to sit here now. I don't! I'm outraged by that statement."
During the argument one can clearly hear Bill O'Reilly repeating that "The terrorists were Muslim. So, Muslims attacked America."
then once Behar stood up and said she was leaving the stage he screamed "Go! Go! Go!"

It's really good to walk off your own show....shows you have a lot to say...no wonder it takes a team of them to host a show....if everybody says 50 words we have show!

do you mean the one that would have made it not only technically correct, but accurate., as in MUSLIM TERRORISTS? Is that the one you mean?
Defending his actions is absolutly ridiculous. he did that to blow up the situation and it worked.. but it worked because of the weak minded Whoopi Goldberg and Behar.. they shouldn't have let him get under thier skin.. Walters was totally right about that.
But O'rielly did that for effect.. you really can't make light of it., that's what he does and that's why I don't like the guy., you can't count on him telling the truth.. at least not accurately...

Tell me, how often do you hear the phrase "The Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor." The Japanese civilians had nothing to do with the attack. By your standards, the correct term would be the "Japanese military" or the "Japanese Navy" yet, no one has ever thrown a fit like you are over this.

That's because the Japanese were united as a country against the US.
Muslims who populate many sovereign nations, and is a religion, are not all united against the USA. Most of them are united within their own tribes and couldn't give a rat's behind about the western world.

I have a general question. How many tens of thousands of followers, how many dozens of base camps, how much support from governments, how many people dancing in the streets at each success, does it take before the terrorists are seen as something OTHER than Extremists?
These people are not isolated nutjobs. They have widespread support. They will not be defeated until that support is no longer forthcoming.
The terrorists are ALL Muslims. The people who feed, clothe, and house them are ALL Muslims. The people who knew about the upcoming attacks and could have saved thousands of lives but did nothing are ALL Muslims.
Religion of Peace My Ass.
The terrorists were ALL Muslims does not mean that ALL Muslims are terrorists.
Meet Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols - Christian terrorists. Does that mean that all christians are terrorist? Do I need to go into details... like 77,000 dead Iraqi's because of the war that ensued.
Welcome back, Joe, we missed you!

Yeah, too bad O'Reilly never said that. At any rate ... nobody seems to bat an eyelash when people say, "The child pedofiles were Catholic Priests", when clearly the vast majority of priests are not pedofiles. Also, nobody seems to bat an eyelash when people make the straight out assumption that all priests are pedofiles.

Ah yes ... the big assumption that gets thrown around all the time ... too bad neither were Christians. (and here you're accusing O'Reilly of grouping people together?)
McVeigh, from what anyone can tell, was probably an agnostic: http://www.tektonics.org/guest/mcveigh.htm
Nichols became a Christan only well after the bombing when he spent time in prison. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,122527,00.html

The IRA are Catholic. The IRA are well known for bombings in the UK.
Or, are you going to make the claim that since they are terrorists they must be Muslim.

There are nearly 2 BILLION Muslims in the world. If you honstly believe that all Muslims are terrorists or that all terrorists are Muslim you are an IDIOT.

The last time you started running your mouth on here about Beck and the Tea Party you got handed your ass. Not me but other Conservatives made you look silly. Now here you go again calling O'Reilly a pinhead and idiot for putting two eletist Liberals into a corner where they acted like typical spoiled Dems and stormed offstage. Maybe you should do like O'Reilly told the girls. Pay attention , you might learn something.
Umm, hand check? You get your jollies off by people who share similar political ideologies winning debates on an internet message board? "Pay attention, you might learn something," should teach us something more like, "Look over there! There's an inter-religious, mixed race gay couple of different socioeconomic backgrounds trying to force their way of life down our throats from the privacy of their own homes! Now, while you're all distracted and outraged by your differences, my fat cat friends and I will be making a sweet deposit at the bank. Cheerio..."
Unfortunately that's not a lesson learned when our masses keep getting their opinions and BS political research/facts spoon-fed to them by talking heads feigning intelligence and solutions to a broken, crumbling system...
Politicians are puppets, y'all. Let's get Geppetto!

Why does Behar have a problem with O'Reilly saying Muslims instead of Muslim Terrorists? She never had a problem making fun of the Religious right or marriage or Flag wavers.Pretty much anything America used to stand for. Maybe its time we gave this PC crap a break. If those two idiots walk off because of something like that, Well who watches that show anyway. Whoopi looks like she should be replacing Rogers at NT.Babs looks like she is 200 years old Behar is just hatefull, . I don't know who the other Black Woman is, And Elizabeth is hot and smart. And she doesn't storm off everytime she hears something she doesn't like.....Well maybe she does. I 've never seen the show but I don't think many Conservatives would act that childish.

I watched this show once before. Those bimbos were relentless and just tore John McCain a new one. They kept cutting him off, talking over him and sarcastically laughing at anything he had to say. Now O'Reilly cut them off and laughed and they couldn't handle it so they walked off pouting. What a hypocritical couple of whiners. What's funny is that the name of the show is "The View", like they want to hear and discuss different views. If they're going to act this way, they should call it "Joy and Whoopi's View".

We had some friends over last night to play cards. The guys wife is a real Gimme Gimme liberal. Out of the blue she jumps me about what a great Gov Strickland is for Ohio. Then she went on to Obama and as soon as I started to argue back she went storming out of the house and wanted to go home. Her Husband ( a Conservative) laughed at her and she stayed outside until she got cold then came back in and made everybody uncomfortable. She never watches the news. Didn't even hear about the Miners but she wants to lecture us on things like free tuition for her kids. I told her to send her kids to college all she wants just don't expect me to pay for it. Liberals, gotta love em.

Of all the entries on this list, this is by far the one we found hardest to wrap our minds around.
There probably isn't a single person reading this who hasn't run across a nationalist at some point. Not a patriot -- a nationalist. People who turn the love of their country into a godda***d religion and believe that their nation and its flag stand as an island of righteousness in a black ocean of evil foreigners.
But haven't those guys -- the equivalent of the "American flag painted onto a pickup truck" tribe we have now -- been around since ... well, forever?
Nationalism Wasn't Really Around Until ...
Try the late 18th century.
Up until that point, the zealous types were all about loyalty to their ethnic group, or a leader, or their religion, their city-state or their clan/tribe. Not their country, because countries as we understand them today didn't exist.
It's hard to grasp how different the world was then. Most nations of the time were really just a collection of ethnic enclaves, usually speaking multiple languages within the country, sometimes united under one leader, often not. But thinking of themselves as "Russian" or "French" just wasn't a big part of their personality.
Let's pick on another example besides America. How about France? After all, they're famous for being fiercely French -- the snobby, tourist-hating Frenchman is still a stereotype in the USA, and we fully expect them to hate us if we don't speak perfect French when we travel there. Now consider this: In 1789 only 50 percent of the people in France actually spoke French, and only 12 to 13 percent of those folks spoke it "fairly well."
And the same was true in other countries across Europe; people just didn't see themselves as citizens of a particular nation. Which is why the national anthem of the UK, for example, is "God Save the Queen." Not "God Save Our Kick-ass Country."
It wasn't until the Enlightenment-inspired Founding Fathers of the U.S. and their French cousins got it into their heads that states should be governed by the people, that the people actually got boners for the state. Which is probably the best description of nationalism anyone's ever going to come up with: state boners.

My wife is fairly liberal and a teacher. She hates Strickland. Like Taft he is a complete idiot when it comes to school funding in her opinion.
Since she hates just about every politician this might not mean much.

that's one opinion,, I don't share..
wow,, 4 clips that seem to prove me wrong.. WOW,, the man has been on the air for years and years..
All you are showing is a highlight reel on O'rielly. we all know what highlight reels are.. they are the good plays a player makes.. they never show the mistakes..
How long has he been on the air.. 2, 4, 6 years.. let's just look at 4.. 52 weeks means about 250 shows or so (est) per year.. 1000 shows maybe over 4 years, and you pick 4 clips..
You are right about him being arrogant. but he's also inflammtory and inaccurate.
I've apologized for calling him an idiot in case you hadn't noticed, I've also promised to try and not do that again. But it doesn't change what he really is.
he's exactly like Oberman, Beck, Limbaugh and Maddox.

Yes, someone who continues to work by getting ratings. Which is exactly why a show like The View would have him on, he generates ratings for their show as well. The more outrageous, the higher the ratings, the more they can sell their ad time for. He's been on that show many times and they certainly know what they are getting when they have him on.
Everyone is talking about this on radio shows, at the water cooler, even a football forum and inevitably more people will tune in to see what's next.
Mission accomplished.

Would you have a problem if someone said that "Catholic priests molested young children"? It is not all Catholic priests, only some minority. Would you insist that they say "extremist Catholic priests"?

Regardless of how Bill's statement was/is perceived I find it ridiculous that Joy and Whoopie were so intolerant of Bill's comment. Joy and Whoppie supposedly represent a political group that preaches tolerance and they are met face to face with something that made them uncomfortable and they run away.
Bottomline: Life is messy. People are going to have different viewpoints and ideas than you. You cannot live your life stomping off like a little child when someone disagrees with you. Be an adult sit there and work it out.

If it's said like that, no. you didn't say catholics molested children..
that comment worded in that fashion correctly identified a section or group within the catholic religion.
Nice try,,
by the way, that was a rather assurd question, I'm absolutly amazed at the lengths that people on here will go to to defend O'rielly.. Incredible....

Since I can't find more of his Talking Points Memos I picked from what there was. I can also tell you that most of the clips that show him as a flat out racist or being a hate monger are things taken out of context. You usually don't find a lot of political commentary stuff on You Tube if it doesn't fit that persons agenda. Thus not a lot boring clips of people saying nice things about people of a different ideology.
Charlie is one person on here who has posted clips and I knew from watching episodes he was full of crap.
If you look up the Hill interview on You Tube, almost all are posted by people on the left using it to show how he is a racist. I just put that video in context.
I have heard him side with Obama quite frequently on various issues. He gets flak from a lot in his audience (I assume most of his audience are conservative Republicans) because he gives Obama an easy time.
He is different then most of the rest because he is conservative on a lot of his beliefs he doesn't always attack those that disagree because of ideology.
I did try and find videos of him going after Bush and other Republicans but I couldn't find them. Same with Beck. I use to hear him attack Bush when I would watch him on HNN.
As to you apologizing for calling talking heads idiots...Why? If you think they are then say it. Calling people that might happen to like or agree with them might be over the line but these guys are mostly clowns or idiots. That is how they make their money.

Ok, leave the saint part out of it.. just give me the person that is fair and honest and always tells the truth and never puts any twist on it to suit their own agenda...
