The format doesn't really copy and paste. But this is how it goes (with King's comment for Mack)...

Offense

QB Peyton Manning
RB Arian Foster
WR Brandon Lloyd
WR Roddy White
WR Davone Bess

C Alex Mack - Some thought the 21st pick was too high for Mack in 2009. Now, he's a franchise player.
G Ryan Lilja
T Marshall Yanda

Defense

DE Vince Wilfork
DT Haloti Ngata
DT Jason Jones
DE Trent Cole
LB Cameron Wake
LB Clay Matthews
LB Lawrence Timmons
CB Brandon Flowers
FS Earl Thomas
SS LaRon Landry
CB Nnamdi Asomugha

Special Teams

K Billy Cundiff
P Shane Lechler
KR Brandon Tate
PR Devin Hester

Awards

MVP - Tom Brady
Off. Player of the Year - Roddy White

i wouldn't vote him on this season. he's been a very good player, but not his normal all-pro self.

King is insane. I have a hard time giving Mack this over Nick Mangold and Jason Brown. I think Steinbach should be on there over Brandon Moore, who is having a bit of a down year. Vince Wilfork does not now, nor has he ever played defensive end. Adrian Wilson is much better than Landry, and Thomas has made way too many mistakes to be on here.

How can he have Tom Brady as his MVP of the league yet Peyton Manning is listed as his All-Pro QB for the season?

Actually, Wilfork has played quite a bit of DE this year.

Bess is having a very nice year, but over Calvin Johnson? Really?

I read the Wilfork has been shifting over to end lately.

I'm really surprised that Pouncey is on there. Is he for real?

Still more nose than end. He should have put Ngata at end and Wilfork at nose.

In 2008 Drew Brees won offensive player of the year but not MVP. Stuff like that happens all the time.

It's just their way of keeping one person from winning all of the accolades... sharing the glory.

The NFL runs on Star Power... the more star athletes they have, the better.
If one person got half the awards, they wouldn't have as many names & faces to market. Entire regions of the country would feel unrepresented in some way.

• UPSET OF THE YEAR -- Browns 30, Saints 17, Week 7: Cleveland may not know how to build a playoff team, but the Browns know how to take out a defending Super Bowl champion on any given Sunday. For the third year in a row, Cleveland beat the guys who hoisted the trophy the season before, and this time it was the most convincing victory of all. The Browns intercepted Drew Brees four times, sacked him three times and returned two of the picks for touchdowns (both by veteran linebacker David Bowens). Cleveland improved to 2-5, and the Saints slipped to 4-3, dropping their second home game of the year after going 8-2 in the dome last season.

Devone Bess is one of the best slot receivers in the league. According to this Bess is tied with Roddy White in first down receptions on 3rd down.

I see a lot of guys on there we passed on in the draft. The Def Player of the year for one. Didn't we pull a smooth one with Balt where they move up one position to take Ngata and even give us a 6th or 7 th rounder plus their 1st round. Then we get the guy we really want, Kam Whimbey.

1. Wimbley is playing pretty well in Oakland this year.
2. Would it have been better to draft Wimbley and not get the extra pick? whether or not that pick panned out, it's always better to take the chance.

Ugh... did you have to bring that one up again?? I remember going from ecstatic that Ngata was there for the picking to slack-jawed disbelief that we traded the pick (to the RAVENS -- of ALL teams) to downright fury when we pick Wimbley. Wow... where's that face-palm graemlin when you need it? LOL

I believe King considers MVP as not necessarily the player who's the "best" in the league, but the guy whose team just wouldn't be the same without him.

That's why Peyton Manning is always such a candidate. Could you see the Colts as doing as well without him?

Polamalu's injury last year maybe helped show why he's an MVP candidate (though maybe not this year as much as in the past). Without him on the field, the team just isn't the same.

Yes Peter King... I'm sure an Offensive Lineman is going to win Rookie Of The Year...

Sam Bradford for the win...

Nice to see Mack getting some recognition, I still believe passing on Mark "Sanchise" last draft was the right decision, the Braylon trade makes it an even better one.
