Hey guys don't post t often but waned to ask everyone to keep my wife and me in there prayers. our house caught fire. pretty much everything ruined right now. whole house didnt burn but everyting melted and covred n soot. No people hurt wife and me were at work. But we did lose both dogs and our cat. Family and Red Cross have been great. Going to be a long process but trying to keep my head up.

Thanks guys. I think im still kinda in shock. Miss my dogs especially my girl dog reese. first dog i had got her from the pound when i graduated h.s . Miss Max and Frannie to. Yea staying with my in laws for now. fire marshal is supposed too come today to figure out how fire started.

Ditto. Keep your head up bud. Try to focus on the positive of the situation. Much easier said than done with the pets involved I know. But the main thing is you and your wife are safe and still have each other. You two will get through this together.

House fires are rough. My Mom had one in 99 and it was one of the toughest things to go through. When you're back up on your feet and into your house, let me know if you need any thing in the kitchen appliance area (major appliances or countertop). I work in that industry and can see what I might just have here at my house or at least get you a nice discount as you have to re-purchase things.

Terrible thing to go through I'm sure. Glad no one was hurt, but I understand the whole "everything is gone" kind of thing. Pictures, possessions, .......... thinking of you. Hopefully you have good insurance.

Thanks everyone it's been rough and like I said earlier the hardest is our pets . We had the insurance people put today. Basically have to gut the house down to wall studs and start from scratch. Half the siding outside needs replaces too. Thats what everyone keeps saying at least you get all new things, but my wife siad it best. she said "it still feels like we lost everything."  The insurance adjuster told us to only take things of sentimental value. Smoke damge ruined everything else. CLothes to dressers to shower plates everything. So off to live with the in-laws most likely for the next 6 months or so...
