30-40minutes is kind of a weird spot for me, during my 2 hour rides home from school I'd listen to a Beatles album in full. Then depending on mood I'd go to some Parliament or something blues (Robert Johnson is my favorite).
For a shorter commute, I always liked some early Rock n Roll. Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Johnny Cash, Buddy Holly, early Beatles, and The Kinks. I think the straight driving rhythm in all that stuff lends itself to the road quite well and it was before the rock lost the roll!
If everyone did this, it would eliminate Road Rage.
I'd kill someone if I had to listen to that crap.
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
John 14:19 Jesus said: Because I live, you also will live.
I can recall a time traveling late night from Charlotte to Cleveland by way RT 77 north coming down the mountain in West Virginia and it was a half past 4 in the morning when I picked up Radar love.
Kinda gave me a second wind.
Allen Parsons project and (newer) Steely Dan are good for me on longer late night trips.
