1. Michigan learned it's defensive tactics from the French. 2. Good thing they went away from the Lloyd Carr style teams. That couldn't possibly work in today's college atmosphere. Just ask Stanford  3. RichRod has turned Michigan into a slightly better version of Indiana (putting all the good recruits on offense and hoping to get into shootouts). Now that's a tagline he can use in recruiting: "Come to Michigan, we're slightly better than Indiana" 4. Michigan's best win of the year was a furious comeback effort against Notre Dame. That's right, the same ND team that got blown out by Tulsa. 5. Finally, with a win, Michigan is hoping to lock up that illustrious 7th place finish in the Big10. (of course, with the loss they will get, they will finish ahead of only Indiana, Minnesota and maybe Purdue who gets to play Indiana)

to be fair though, if a Michigan player was red-shirted, and then awarded an additional 2 years because of medical hardship by the NCAA, he would still be winless against OSU after this weekend

On a side note, I hate these unis for today. This game is all about history, and image. I wish we had our regular uniforms on an today. Save this look for a bowl, or say earlier game from this year. They aren't horrible, but don't look like buckeye uniforms.

I am one of the people who can't stand showboating but giving the "O" sign a 15 yard penalty? Please  I was also against the penalty for diving in the end zone. I can't stand when people do it but he was flanked by two defenders. Granted he most likely could have scored easily but it wasn't the type of dive where he is all alone past the defense.

They said that penalty was for giving the "O" as well, not for the dive. I agree, if it were for the dive that would be horsecrap.

I think the penalty for the "O" was BS.....as much as I hated to see Ohio State score yet again...I didnt see one problem with the kids making a "O".....let em play, let them celebrate!
Its not like he stood one another guys shoulder and did a back flip while making a "O" with his hands.

At least it was a spot foul and not a back to original line of scrimmage foul.
Those unsportsmanlike penalties were a load of crap and I hope that as the clock strikes 00:00 OSU scores another TD and EVERY DAMN PLAYER on the team makes the O
