I have some back pain I need to address and was wondering if anyone with back pain has had any experience/luck with massages?

I don't have back pain, but I do get really bad headaches because my neck muscles are screwed up.
I've seen a masso-therapist a few times for the deep tissue massage, and it really does work.
It hurts like hell when they're doing it, and you're sore after, but it does work.
I am unfamiliar with this feeling of optimism

Yes. Absolutley. I have a Licensed Massage Therapist that I see that has worked wonders when doctors could not. If its muscle, then a good one can help. Maybe mix in the chiropractor along with the LMT visits.

When I would overdo things and get muscle pain in my back it would definitely help.

Not me, but wife has been getting this treatment on an ongoing basis after surgery. It works and she raves about it. Not sure what all is involved, but relief, yes. Worth a try in my opinion. May take several for results.

I think Michelle thinks they are a waste of time.  I know that a couple of kids get them from the football team. I know someone here locally that is suppose to be very good. I plan on taking my son to her soon. Between football and wrestling his back muscles (as well as other muscles) get real tight

I may need to go have my back worked on. I think I may have pulled a muscle or something in my side/back beyond what's been going on with my back.

Massages are FAB! I had sciatica issues while I was pregnant and my massages worked WONDERS for me!
