Yes, I do and it happens HERE all the time. We can share differing views on very hot topics without stooping to name calling and belittling each other, that's respect. At least that's what I see most of the time here. The bullying I'm talking about has nothing to do with adding a point of view regarding to do with sharing a viewpoint on a thread topic (unless of course it's to say something like "who cares"). It has more to do with detracting from a topic just to throw some weight around to. In fact if one such bully was in charge the topics that so many of us enjoy discussing wouldn't even be allowed that seems more like political correctness to me.

That's why they have the "Rules of the Board" and not people's personal interpritation as to what they as individuals see as proper or improper. Well,for the most part anyway.

There are times that some of us "go over the top". But for the most part,I think people simply percieve things differently. I pretty much have a good idea as to the intent of this issue. So I won't belabor my point. But I think it's far more about the "perception" of posts,rather than their "intent".
But yes,there are some acceptions.

Some posters go away for long stretches, and some of them I notice their absence and PM them to find out what's up, but there's always someone around to talk/argue with.

Some of us use this forum to be entertained, informed to share frustrations and to be able to speak our minds.
We all have the right to "free speech" but free speech doesn't mean anyone will listen to you. On this forum we all have an opportunity to be heard by many more people than in real life exposures. Some may put you on ignore but most give you a shot.
Some of us are labelled trolls,bullies or dumbasses...sometimes we are but most all of us need what this forum offers. A chance to express feelings which may vary from the prevailing cookie cutter program.
I appreciate the chance to discuss,debate, bicker or argue with all of you and knowing that there are thousands of other diehard,long suffering Browns fans
to share with is a great thing.
I look forward to verbal jousts with Pitdawg,Phil and the Cult of the Coven from Cleveland daily. To those of you who find our personal aggressive style to be too intense please realize that it is part of our personality to be contrarian in nature and actions.

I look forward to debates too and though those threads get heated we all have a degree of respect for each other though we don't share the same viewpoints. In fact I got the opportunity to know you a little better when you thought I was being disrespectful of others and we had a private conversation and came to a better understanding. I appreciated you sharing your viewpoint with me and I was glad for that opportunity. I don't consider debate bullying it's one of the best ways to learn things not just about the topic but about the people involved.

WOW! Cool,I thought I was going crazy for a minute Shep! I noticed that too. And I've noticed it sometimes with image size as well. It seems some images are quickly edited due to size,while others seem not to be. sometimes not at all.
I'm sure it's just my imagination though.

I hope that you will come back from time to time when you feel like it. If I was ever to leave here for any reason.................I do not think that I would announce it................I would just take off and nobody would ever even notice me gone. I would always leave the option open to come back (my opinion) and that is why I would never make an announcement to get up and go! I am not sure, but something had to happen here, for you to want to get out and let everybody know your leaving! I hope you come back............this is not a bad place (in my mind) and you sure can get some good information on many topics, lots of opinions on our beloved Browns...............and a few dirty jokes every now and then! You may go and stay gone...........or you may decide to venture back now and then to just check it out...................whatever! You need to remember you will always be welcome back in here! Hey all, Don't forget there's a common bond that brings us all here. I mean, a few people around here get on my nerves every once in a while (usually about their Brady Quinn homerism *AHEM* Diam ). But I don't forget that we're all cheering for those guys in those orange and brown helmets and just for that, alone, I think you're all winners in my book, even if we don't always see eye to eye... I posted this on another thread but it applies here as well:
I know perception plays a huge role in interperting the written word because we lack the advantage of intonation and body language. However when a large percentage of people have the same perception of a poster perhaps there's something the poster can learn from that. For example I had two posters in the same day say that I was talking down to people so I looked at what I had said and saw how it could be seen that way. I PMed with the two people and we came to a better understanding and I was grateful for the opportunity. I don't think people should change who they are to please others, but if enough people see me as someone I'm not I'm going to take a look at how I'm coming across and see how I can improve my communication skills to better represent who I am.
I'll add here I'd give it even more thought it if was coming from someone I considered ( or used to consider) a friend.

Just like when he used his ax to rip out a picture of mine because in his opinion, it didn't meet the signature guidelines of 125x600 pixels (at DTMB). I tried to explain to him that the guidelines were for signatures and not for pix posted in a post, he stuck to his guns. Then not 3 weeks later, he posted a picture in a NASCAR thread of his favorite driver and car, and the picture he posted was larger than the 320x300 pixels my picture was, and was double the 16K my picture was...but it was O.K. for him to post it, and when I complain about it, it's endless babble.

You, however, repeatedly posted your golf cart pic in different threads for no reason.
Not a one time use, so it was gone. This was very common.
