Yes. The 3rd QB can enter the game in the 4th quarter, and the first two QB's remain eligible to play.

But if we make Seneca the 3rd QB, and decide to run him in a Wildcat package in say the 2nd quarter, then Colt and Delhomme are not allowed to re-enter the game.

The 3rd QB does not count towards the 45 man game day roster.

Now, there's the one technicality that changes things:

The 3rd QB can be listed as Inactive on Gameday, and thus not a part of the 45 man game day roster and can still play given the provisioned rules above.... however, if all 3 QB's are active on the game day 45, then I don't think the above rules come into play at all. However, to do that, somebody else gets dropped from the game day 45, which will usually impact special teams.

Just wanted to note that this actually came into play earlier this season. Miami had Penny and Henne injured in the 1st half against the Titans.

While the trainers attended to Henne on the sidelines, Ronnie Brown ran the wildcat until they knew for sure that Henne was done for the day. At that point, they inserted QB3, Mr. Thigpen.

I like that. Penny and Henne.

Seems the injury to Henne, then to Penny, was one too many.

Never knew that; don't believe I have ever seen it in games before. These rules things are a constant source of revelation to me. Thanks. Hope we whack the tar out of 'em with the Colt.

He better prove himself beyond any shadow of a doubt or else we should be on an all out KTMF type blitz to draft Andrew Luck this year. I don't care about trading away "valuable picks". We're never going to win without a legit Franchise QB.

Seems as if your opinion is in stark contrast to MH's.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.
