I could of started an intelligent "Cleveland Sucks" thread, but a similar thread was already started by a brilliant and witty Clown fan.


1. The Steelers are undefeated (7-0) in the playoffs vs. division opponents.
2-0 vs. the Ravens
2-0 vs the Clowns
2-0 vs the then Houston Oilers
1-0 vs the Bengals
The Steelers truly own this division!

2. Out of the 4 teams that have never been to a Super Bowl...Jacksonville, Houston, Detroit, and dumpy Cleveland, which city is the "most removed" from a Super Bowl?....
Cleveland, because the other cities have at least HOSTED a Super Bowl. Yes YOU cleveland... are all by your lonesome selves.


3. Pittsburgh is the only sports town in the U.S. where all 3 of it's pro teams wear the same colors...black and gold. It's has a lot to do with 'civic pride', a term Clevelanders are not familiar with.

4. Pittsburgh has a basketball championship (and Cleveland doesn't lol). The Pittsburgh Pipers were the first ABA champions.

5. Pittsburgh was first to be dubbed the "City of Champions" because every sports venue except soccer that existed has won at least one championship.

Before listing the next fact, I wish to emphasize that.....
The Steelers were awful pre-1970.

Now that I got that out of the way, we won't need to hear how bad the Steelers were before our lifetimes.

7. The Steelers are the winningest franchise in the NFL since the merger in 1970...
only 9 losing seasons since then!!!!

I find this final fact really, really, really sad:

8. Today, a 50yr old Pittsburgh fan would have experienced 11 championships in his lifetime....A 50yr old Cleveland fan would have experienced O...yes ZERO!!! How sad...unless a 50yr old can remember the 1964 Clowns when he was 4.

Well, on second thought...if you count soccer as a sport then you have 1...ironically the only championship Pittsburgh doesn't have!l LOL

why does 'hosting' a Superbowl matter? it doesn't. all that matters are championships won.

Cleveland = 8 championships
Pittsburgh = 6 championships

We were gone for 3 years and been abysmal since we have been back, spotting you 15 years and still have the lead there.

1. how very high school. you should be proud that sport team owners couldn't figure out different color combinations when those teams were formed.
2. couldn't have picked an uglier color combination. i mean, if it was Detroit's Hawaiian Blue and Silver, then maybe it'd be worth it. Or San Diego's Powder's and Yellow.
3. it's yellow, not gold.
4. ever heard of variety? it's the spice of life. while you are stuck wearing black shirts with yellow, or yellow shirts with black; we get to wear plenty of combinations between brown/orange, red/white/blue, wine/gold and blue/orange.

I wish to emphasize this as well. In fact, I already have. The Rooney's were 2 wins better than Mike Brown has been with the Bengals since he took over in their first 30 years of ownership (2 playoff games, both losses). Fantastic.

and yet, Pittsburgh still sucks. tough to do, yet here we are. great to pick arbitrary years to start with. how about we take total team history and take a look at percentage so we don't skew the results?

Pitt 540-499-20 .520 winning percentage
CLE 485-397-13 .550 winning percentage

If you aren't good with fractions, the Browns STILL have a higher winning percentage despite the past 11 years.

Umm....first, you either count when they are alive or not. So, either you say 50 and 1 championship or 40 and '0'.

Second, does the NHL really count? I mean, does that mean if we get a MLS team we can count that too? maybe we should start counting the Lake County Captains championship or 'the Miz'




Pittsburgh sucks, the streets of Pittsburgh smell like urine and the women are indistinguishable from the men. right down to the mustaches.

here's an interesting fact, trolling the message board of a rival team is about as low as it gets. dude get a life.

I will congratulate Hypocloids, because he/she showed up before the game and talked smack before the outcome.

I do find it rather surprising that a Bengals fan would come here and talk smack after hiding for well over a month after the Bengals hit the skids ..... and then come in and talk smack when they finished dead last in the division.

Weird.

8 interesting things about Hypocloids...

1. He's a 16 year old highschool dropout that lives in his mom's basement.

2. He still sucks his thumb and wets his bed nightly.

3. He has a mullet and thinks its the coolest thing since sliced bread.

4. He has never had a girlfriend but claims he once kissed a girl. We later found out that girl was his sister.

7. He is color blind because he thinks yellow is gold.
