I was thinking where's the "it's too soon to tell" button.

I put yes. I support the guy and hope he gets the wins for this team finally. I have my doubts but I'm willing to give the front office the benefit of the doubt. We're paying Holmgren and Heckert millions of dollars do their job. If this is the guy they think can get those Ws, then so be it.

That's what I was thinking - guy's been hired less than a week and I'm guessing most fans are like me and had never heard of the guy before he was interviewed... from what I've seen he's nothing to get me all that excited about... but the nice thing is he is on the same page as our president and GM... it's nice to be all on the same page... let's hope it's a winning story...

I have to vote "yes" given the choices. However, my answer is: I don't know yet.

How do you like/dislike a coach who hasn't even coached yet?

Maybe a more interesting, volatile question would be, "What do you think of the new coaching hire ?

if yall look that is what the question is asking...do you like the hiring of shurmer. i put this up because i am neither excited, or upset over it. i dont know much about the guy.
I hope he can turn this thing around and put together a winner but i feel like i have made that comment too many times with this team.

Did you vote yes or no? Hoping that someone or something can turn things around is not the same as liking or disliking a hire. As has been said, most folks don't even know diddly about the guy......can't spell his name yet even....and we are supposed to decide if we like him/the hire? Ask me again this time next year. I voted NO about 12 minutes after you had posted the poll and there was already a NO vote. I voted NO because in polls that are ludicrous or premature I always try and go with the underdog answer for the hell of it.

Same here i'm glad he is on the same page as our front office but to me this isn't a very exciting hire. Maybe because we do it every 3-4 years it's got me a little "ho hum" but I can't really say whether or not I like the guy because I don't know anything about him.

I'm worried that someone wil get a little too excited about "sexto".
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
John 14:19 Jesus said: Because I live, you also will live.

I was more concerned about them slipping in a puddle ........
