Yet you have 20,000 posts on a BROWNS message board?

I was waiting for that. I have optimism for the Browns, I have no such optimism for the Indians... in part because the NFL system is as fair as any in professional sports. I believe that with the right personnel and decent decisions the Browns could become a perennial contender... with the Indians I believe the right personnel and decent decisions the could have a couple years in the playoffs before they had to sell it off and start all over...

To be fair ... the Indians have been in the playoffs 200% more this past decade than the Browns have ... and with less playoff spots!

mac, the old ownership, manager, and coaches are gone and aren't coming back.

You can either support the Indians and Mr Dolan or there are 29 other teams out there looking for part time fans .... your choice.

That's a stupid post ytown.. It's like saying, "You can either support the congress or there are hundreds of other countries you can move to.. "

But, do you know why he said it?

when's the last time the Browns have been 1 game away from the Superbowl?

sure, it hurts what has happened since, but at least they have shown they can compete, tear down, rebuild, compete. it's taking longer than I or most would like this time, but they have been doing it and I actually agree with how they are doing it this time (building the farm system instead of focusing on the MLB team only which is what they had been doing).

KC moved to the "Minnesota-Model" only a few years ago. Soon, I expect them to be the chief competitor to the Twins in the division. In a couple years, I expect it to be the 3 of us (and possibly the Indians and Royals if the Twins slipup. White Sox and Tigers have been cannibilizing their system trying to recapture their WS but what got them there then was largely their homegrown players)

I used to be a big Indians fan, I still consider myself a fan though I bet I haven't watched more than 3 games a year for the last few years... the primary reason is they are never on because they always suck. I do not have the time or the energy to pour into a team that I KNOW is going to suck year after year.. in a league which is designed to basically keep them that way...

OK, once again, I took mac's post from one of his condescending posts about those who are disappointed about the way things are going with the Browns ..... swapped out Browns and Holmgren for Indians and Dolan.... swapped out Mangini for old ownershop, manager, and coaches ....... swapped out 31 other teams for 29 other teams ...... and it is mac's own post, updated for the Indians.

Man ........ irony is dead in this world anymore .......

The original post in question ....

Geesh, it kinda loses its impact when you have to spell it out step by step ...... although I should realize that many people ignore mac and probably didn't see it in the 1st place.
