So this confirms something we already knew. The Broncos are very likely to go defense in the 1st round.

Haden and Peterson would be amazing. Just imagine if Wright returns back to his old form. Our secondary would be in excellent shape.

Here's a question .. While I agree that we could definitely use Peterson, do we have any idea that we intend to bring back wright? or that he would want to come back?
He could go to probably half of the in the league and start. If he comes here (especially if we draft Peterson) he is competing to get on the field. Not that I don't like that scenario ... but looking at our DB situation if we can't bring back Wright means we have a solid Haden, a great Sheldon Brown (who might only be a year or two off from losing a step), and Mike Adams as a contributor ...
Ward will be in the secondary with ...? I think Elam is FA if I am correct, and then we also have Sorenson. Anyone else?
I think that Peterson could end up being a BPA as well as a need for us. I know that a lot of teams are facing the same situation as us with the free agency and restricted free agency situation being shaky ... but frankly I would be scared to head into the season with Haden opposite of Brown as our starters and Adams on the nickel.

This is a business,...if you take Peterson, then never look back on EW. If he wants to stay here and contribute, fine. If he can stay and beat out Peterson in camp, fine. I suppose he ain't big enough to be a safety, and his ego ain't small enough to let him be.
I really don't care enough anymore beyond getting good ballplayers and teammates. If someone gets their toes stubbed, too bad.
