So either Hillis will get hit with the Cleveland Curse and lose in the finals ... or he'll win, and get hit with the Madden curse.

If he wins then he will bring the Madden curse which will, in turn, cancel out the Cleveland Curse.....and this house will be clear---he will have exorcised the demons......

LBJ on the other hand is dealing with bad Karma---much worse than a little curse. With Karma, the whole universe is awaiting your crushing, and well deserved, downfall. A curse is usually the result of some weirdo messing with some hoodoo baddiness.

Two curses don't get along--they just split once they get together.

btw.....in all seriousness, I voted for Hillis

**and maybe some Harry Potter fan on here can help explain the curse dynamics when two of them come in contact with one another.

I was listening to sports talk radio yesterday at work, the hosts were talking about the Madden cover, I don't know where they got their info but they said Hillis is running away the vote.

Anyone else notice ESPN put an article on their home page about how much Vick wants to be on the cover?

It talked about both players in the article, but the headline is, "Vick thrilled to have chance at Madden 12 cover".

EA Sports must've asked them real nicely to try and bump Vick's vote total.

Want to vote an entire graveyard for my man, Hillis! Is there an app for that (there SHOULD be!). I am here to pimp the man on Madden cover. Hope he spanks Vick senseless. Get out the VOTE!

Pres of EA Sports on ESPN Chat today. Here's what he said about Hillis vs. Vick

http://espn.go.com/sportsnation/chat/_/id/38067/ea-sports-peter-moore

Quote:

Kevin (NYC)

How does EA feel about being left with Vick, who is one of the more polarizing figures in sports, and a talented, but not widely known role player in Cleveland for the final vote?

Peter Moore (1:05 PM)

Kevin, great question and I've been asked a thousand times. But we couldn't be more delighted. We have Vick, the comeback player of the year. He gave Brady a run for the money at MVP. And for Hillis, we couldn't be more delighted for Cleveland and they couldn't be more happy to have one of their own fighting for the cover. We've been fascinated to see the fan reaction. We'll be very comfortable with whatever decision they make. You'll be hearing about it tomorrow.

It's gonna be weird to see a ham sandwich on the cover of a Madden game.....people are going to be confused.

"What is this game about with the ham sandwich on the cover?"

"Is that a football game?"

"What's with the deli meat?"

That kind of read like he was really pulling for Vick

Man, I completely forgot about this. I'm going to predict the percentage...

65% Hillis
35% Vick

Landslide. Hrmmm...another good nickname for Hillis.

Seriously... if Hillis gets this, EA has got to do it right:

1. They've got to give his character properly distorted biceps/deltoids.
2. They have to implement his end zone celebration where he goes to one knee and throws his arms back
3. Thay MUST add the Hurdle.

Well, the show comes on at 4pm, right? I'd expect the announcement to happen near the end of the show so that they can maximize their ratings draw.
