When you make a your selection pm the next guy in line. If you are getting close to your pick and don't feel you will be on, feel free to pm me your big board. I hardly ever go anywhere after work and I have an i-phone so I can check the board every couple of hours for picks.
just don't send me your big board if you aren't making a pick for a while so things don't get confusing.

Almost went with AJ Green, but I think with the Palmer situation QB is a more pressing need. Cam Newton is going to a be a pretty good QB, and fits well with Cinci.

Doesn't look like it'll get to my selection until late, so I sent my big board to Cleveland_Clutch for the Titans at #8.
If CC can't be online, then someone can look at who the Titans new DL coach for a clue at my likeliest selection.

Well, I already explained my reasoning for that in the dawgtalkers mock draft thread (page 4 in standard settings) but bottom line is the bills #1 and #3 or #4 needs are starting DEs. I wasn't going to get starters past the second and Watt was my top 3-4 DE for a 3-4 after Dareus. Had wojo picked Peterson my pick would have been in one minute later. WR and corner aren't big needs for them and I think Fitzpatrick is better than Newton. Fairley's not a fit in the 3-4 or the cold. It came down to Watt or Miller and I'm not totally sold on Miller. I like Watt over Jordan for the strength and the nasty demeanor. He'd have to play the Jets, Pats, and Dolphins twice a year each and those are some nasty linemen.
Anyway, now you see why I wanted to trade down.

I'm up for either, but if we decide on the voting, I think that if I were Rod Graves (he is GM, isn't he?), the choice would come down to Von Miller or Patrick Peterson. While Peterson is higher rated on most, if not all boards, Arizona was top 1/3 in passes defended and top 1/2 in interceptions. They were bottom 50% in sacks. As well, they have a trio of 34/35 year olds...my pick would be Von Miller there, by the slimmest of margins. He has the potential of making the bigger impact.

I think we all know who he's going to pick, but I'm sure he wants to type the pick in himself!

With the 6th pick of the 2011 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns select: Patrick Peterson - CB - LSUThis is really a tough decision, but I can't pass on the best player in the NFL Draft. Just can't do it. Drafting Green would be nice, and will help our offense, but I think of teams with great WR's, but still can't put together wins.. Peterson, Haden, and Ward will lock down any offense, point blank, and that is what I value. Quote:

That would be a solid pick.
I probably would have gone with Jordan, but I wouldn't complain about a Peterson pick.
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
John 14:19 Jesus said: Because I live, you also will live.

Peterson would be more than a solid pick....I want AJ Green with that pick but I agree Peterson would be hard to pass on, and would lock down our DB's for years to come.

That is who I was trying to trade up for....I missed out by being away from the computer last night. I could have gotten you off that pick, and you probably could have still gotten Green @ 9.
I actually inquired about moving up to #3 for Peterson but is cost too much. Some of my cowboy fan friends told me to do what it takes if peterson does not go in the top two....but I did not want to be left with no picks.

just as a heads-up to those behind me, I will not be dragging out my selection as I have meetings all afternoon. so, once Noon EST hits and we decide on the 49ers selection (or yoshi comes online), I will make my selection rather quickly.

Might as well start the discussion now. Of course the niners need a QB, but I doubt anyone feels any of the reamaining QB's are worthy of the 8th pick(except maybe the Mallet pimps). I've seen Prince Amakumara slotted here alot and Fairley in a few and Quinn. Even though the Seahawks won the division I see the Rams as the new team to beat and with Bradford in mind I think the 9ers draft - Amakamara.
