Whew! Well , I knew that the Indians winning a series in the House of Horrors that is Oakland wouldn't be easy ..... but this is ridiculous. lol Tribe gets out of Oakland with a 2-1 series win. Whew! Still the best record in baseball at 21-9. This was close to a must win with KC winning again today.

perez has had a couple shaky games, but overall he's been pretty dang good.
remember, the last time we had an 'automatic' closer he melted down at the worst possible time (and coincidentally never recovered)

Well, if you mean a closer as automatic as Rivera, he probably wouldn't be an Indian long -- because of the way baseball is setup, he'd get overpaid somewhere else soon.
I feel 'ya on this, but it is what it is,...more bats, more runs, more offense and you don't have to worry so much about it.

I'm not worried about Perez, but if it continues into the summer, you have to be worried.
The funny thing is, the year Joe Borowski was blowing saves and nearly blowing saves, he actually was not the reason they didn't finish off Boston when they were up 3-1. I don't even think the guy was a factor because of the scores of the games.
I have faith in Perez though, I think he'll be fine.

Choo isn't hitting right now ..... but that throw to gun down the runner trying to go from 2nd to 3rd on a fly ball out was worth at least 1 run.

Well ..... in the playoffs, you have to win low scoring, close ballgames ..... so I think that it does show a toughness and an ability to win even in difficult circumstances.
It's still way early .... but I think it could help us later.
