Interesting to see that, will be more interesting to see what it looks like 11 1/2 months from today!

We can remove Janoris Jenkins, he'll be supplemental this year unless he decides to play D2.

If Colt pans out, we're really going to have a chance to add some impact players in the 1st round and start rounding out the team. It looks like there are a bunch of highly rated guys at positions where we could use a playmaker, particularly ILB, OLB, and FS. 2012 looks like it will be a great year to add a game changer at LB. Should be interesting to see what we end up doing with those two first rounders. Also looks like a strong year for OT.

if the guys we picked this year in the first and second round pan out as expected and maybe one more pan out from lower in this draft, like the OL guy Pinkston (SP). and Hardesty comes in and stays healthy, we will have cleaned up a big mess and should, at that point, be on the mend.

I know that's asking alot but is it really..

Not to mention free agency this year and next year. Though we didn't sign any big names in FA last year, we brought in quite a few guys that were not only leaders for the young players, but that also played rather well last season. With two solid FA periods like the one we had last year and natural development by this years picks and our young players, we could be in a position to make a big leap in 2012 with all the picks we have.

Justin Blackmon, Oklahoma State (Jr.), WR, he's the one I'll be watching. I don't think we will be that bad to get him as high as he will go.

I actually hear that with a solid season, Kirk Cousins could be a first round and potentially top 10 pick....

Although it's extremely early to suggest anything like that as well, but there is only 363 days left until the 2012 draft.

He's Frank Minnefield's son ..... and he's a Cavalier. (College team)

Barkley could end up fighting Luck for the top spot.

I don't think he will. But he has a ton of potential and a pretty good QB coach.

Top guys to look out for next year:

Andrew Luck QB Stanford - You may have heard of him; he's kind of a big deal. He's very smart, accurate, mobile, and IMO, the 2nd best QB prospect since Peyton (behind only Bradford)

Matt Barkley QB USC - He's also a potential top 10 pick. Barkley isn't as good as Luck, but in most drafts, he's the top guy at this point.

Trent Richardson RB Alabama - Much better prospect than Ingram. He's a dynamic player with great receiving ability. Best RB prospect since AP.

Alshon Jeffrey WR South Carolina - He's a big, physical player with fantastic hands. A.J. Green was the best WR prospect since Megatron, and Jeffrey might be better.

Justin Blackmon WR Oklahoma St. - Yet another potential top 10 pick at wide receiver.

Michael Floyd WR Notre Dame - It isn't yet known if he will be playing at ND next year or not, after getting a DUI. Floyd is a huge target who catches everything. The only real issue is injuries.

Ryan Broyles WR Oklahoma - Yet another potential 1st round WR. Broyles would have probably gone in the first or 2nd this year, but instead chose to stay in college and could solidify or improve his stock with another season.

Gotta run for now, but want to get it up now and will continue it later.

I like Jeffery a lot...he is legit.

Speaking of Luck....if after this season it seems Colt might not be the answer and we want a run at Luck....we have the ammo.

If after the season we decide Colt isn't the answer, that means we probably have a top ten pick.

Add in the Falcons slot which will probably be in the high 20's, and next years first rounder....Luck is ours.

If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.

I agree. The only problem would be if a team like the Bills, Dolphins, Broncos, Raiders, Redskins, Cardinals, 49ers, or Seahawks sucks too.

If we suck we just have to suck worse than those teams mentioned above as none of them have their franchise QB on their roster or have ties to Luck through Stanford (49ers/Harbaugh, Broncos/Elway).

If a team like the Panthers has the first pick again I think it will be a lock that we will at least try and get their pick.

And if we don't get Luck we'd better hope Matt Barkley comes out a year early. He'd be a nice consolation prize.

With the extra 1st rd pick next year maybe we can move up into the top 10 and get him. I'm the optimistic type.

Well, with the original thread here (that I somehow missed, sorry refs) I guess I don't need to keep going. I will say, however, that Vontaze Burfict is a straight up stud and potential top 5 pick. Kenny Tate could end up top 10 as well.

The Browns are going to ned some faster linebackers next season and probably another corner/safety along with a OT..and yes another receiver.
I'll ignore QB for now..

I'd rather not have it next year either. Because it means we sucked. Bad. But if Colt McCoy is not going to be good I'd like to know in 2011 so that we still have a chance at Luck.
