this is great news if its true! i was getting bummed out during the day at work when i kept checking and didnt see anything and also kept seeing how he was leaving town, thought we had no chance. Atleast now i can get some work done so i don't have to keep checking all my browns pages

heres a link Browns signed OL Eric Steinbach to a seven-year, $49 million contract, according to the St. Petersburgh Times. The Bucs had been manuevering for Steinbach and are now expected to focus on Luke Petitgout. For this money, we'd have to think the Browns sold Steinbach on being a blind side tackle, although they'd originally been expected to use Steinbach inside. If Steinbach moves to LT, Kevin Shaffer will kick to right tackle where most feel he's better suited. If that is at all true we will NOT draft Joe Thomas... We will probably draft Peterson then take a guard in round 2....

so do you think the browns put him at left tackle- i thoght they wanted him for guard all along. Alot of money for a guard though...... Hutchinson money.

I am happy we got Steinbach but we are asking a guy to make a big move to the outside if he is going to play LT.
Please let Joe Thomas still be in the cards

According to a scouting report I am looking at( I can't share it or I would) Steinbach is only 3 spots behind Hutch and 3 yrs younger...So I guess I would call it a wash
