I miss peedawg. That was what Saint called me when I joined. I got into it with Pete and Saint jumped me for being a dumb ass. I gotta say Ref 1 (whoever he was) got me straightened out when it came to message board etiquette.
I also miss Soybomb. She was hot...

I miss the old visiting "shack" contributors....bellslegion, guins, crimefighter, cube, worldchamps, etc. Some were banned, some were idiots, some actually were pretty intelligent, and some would interact cordially in pm's. It was a much more colorful, entertaining and active group back then. I would always visit that forum first for a laugh or two.....then come here to see what garbage "MLK" was posting.

I think some posters on here take themselves and their opinions too seriously. When you have a back and forth posting of verbal tirades over Quinn, Romeo and the endless Couch threads back in the day I think posters get either fed up and leave or fed up and get booted.
Some were quite comical really. You'd think they felt that if they sneezed everyone on the board should get the flu.
There are many posters that have left I thoroughly enjoyed reading and their perspectives on life and sports both educated and entertained me over the years. But for all the ones that left, there are many that have stayed and others that joined that have continued that "tradition" for me.

Eotab thought way too highly of his own opinions but he did know a decent amount of football. Not really sure if he got a permanent invitation to banned camp. Haven't seen or heard anything from Toad on any Browns board for quite a while. Makes me wonder if he's met the grim reaper. The guy liked his own material too much to stop posting everywhere. I do miss Vers and Diam even though I argued with them all the time. Diam could be reasonable. Vers is still telling people how dumb they are over at the Browns "chat" I believe. Purp should be able to clear up any doubts about some of these guy's statuses. Unless he left, too......

IIRC, Toad was trying to become a golf pro. I think that's why he was absent a lot last year, and I have a feeling it's the same thing now.

Well recently it seems pretty calm, but as recent as last season things got ugly at times, on both the football and political aspects.  That was what I was referring too.
But you are correct, as of the last few months things almost seem quiet, but I attribute that to the off-season slump, plus the lock-out.
We don't have to agree with each other, to respect each others opinion.

I think he froze to death on a Arctic expedition.
You, Toad, and I met up at the SD game some years back.
It was maybe 1 degree with at least a steady 30 MPH wind blowing in off the lake.
You and I were bundled in everything we could find....Toad???/ He was wearing this thin faux leather vinyl jacket with a tee- shirt underneath.
I had icicles hanging from my mustache and beard and he was wearing a light jacket and tee...I was thinking whats wrong with this guy??

It was kind of funny.
Diam is fine, I try to pm him once in awhile.
Fletch has come back a few times under different names but gets caught pretty quickly. His style and cadence are so unique that you can tell its him after 2 or 3 posts.

Last I talked to him I think there was an issue with the funding for the program at UNLV.
Not sure he made it out this way.
