Usually not a thread starter but thought it would be kind of silly to bump our season threads a lot.

I can't believe Johnny Gomes is batting 2nd, even in more disbelief that he was just walked with Votto on deck.

White did something to his arm or hand, threw a lot of balls after that. I'm surprised they left him in there.

The error was nice!

No Sizemore and no Hafner. We'll need the bats to step up.

I want 2 of 3, badly. No because we're in first, they're in first, and the gap in the division is closing. It's because this is the battle of Ohio!

Let's do this!

Good luck to all the Reds fans on the board.
I believe right now the Reds are a better team than a very young Tribe, despite our record being what it is.

It seems like the only way we can score runs lately but I'll take it.

I do pull for the Tribe somewhat even though I don't really consider them my team.(can't stand 2 team guys) I've got a soft spot for Cleveland in my heart, what can I say.

Bad base running and Janish just can't hit. I had a lot of hope for Janish getting to play every day, but I'm not very impressed at this point.

Should have scored far more in that inning.

Of course, Janish on defense is pretty darn good.

Reds probably wouldn't have scored any that inning if not for the error & wild pitch.

I always pull for the Reds if they're good enough to pull for and make The Show. I was a Big Red Machine mechanic when I was younger. They were awesome.

Wood gives up one hit and then falls apart....and the Reds get in on the error party.

they took him out, although i do have to back him, as Wood is usually better and more effective in the mornings.

Red pitching just isn't all that good. I think it's going to be the downfall for this team unless they really start improving.

Good lord ...... I took a nap, and woke up to see 3 freakin' errors in this game?????

Chris Perez has not been right for a little while. He started out the year lights out ..... then started walking people, and just hasn't been himself.

Of course, when the umpire misses strike 3 right down the middle .....

Wow. Bad game. Gomes is going to lose his starting job if he keeps playing the way he is.

He's terrible...Seriously he had 2 good months last year and that's it. He sucks and his defense in LF sucks as well. He needs to lose his job. Lewis and Heisy have both looked better but nooooo Dusty Baker is too much of a players manager to actually take a starters job away.

I don't care how hard Gomes hustles....If i got to play MLB baseball I'd hustle hard to doesn't meant I'd be any good at it.

I like Dusty, think he's a solid manager but I just can't understand his love for Gomes right now. (we should have a Heisey/ Lewis platoon going in LF right now) His average is in the 170s and Dusty's not only DHing him but he's batting him 2nd in the lineup?

I hope we don't see that tomorrow.

Don't worry you will cause he's on of Baker's guys and he tries hard. The pilot of the Hindenburg tried real hard too. The only way anything happens is if Walt tells Baker to do something.

Gomes is absolutely killing this team. I realize he had a great month of May in 2010, but how long can he live off of that one good month? Hopefully Dusty doesn't hit him second in tomorrows game.

So frustrating seeing this team lose games they should win.

Soon as I saw him step up in his first at bat in the Majors, I was calling bunt. It was perfect.

Cool way to win a game- bunting with 2 outs in your first at bat in the bigs to bring in the winning run.

The only reason he was batting second, was to bat him ahead of Votto. You obviously see better pitches when you bat in front of a good hitter. Maybe this is a last ditch effort to get his bat going.
It is time to see what Chris Heisey can do as an everyday player.

Losing Hafner for 3-4 weeks will be rough.....but we get Grady back next Friday. So, five more games without him (no game on Thursday). CBS.Sportsline.com has Grady already doing BP before game, so that is encouraging.

It seems like we haven't had both in the lineup all year anyway. The bats will have to step up for the rest of this series and next up is Red-HOT Boston too. Ouch.

Also, the Jake will be sold out tomorrow. First non-Opening Day sell-out since 2008. Good news.

Oh ya, and a BIG congrats to E.Carrera. First AB, first hit, first RBI, and a game-winner to boot. Awesome!

I am feeling a little queezy today.

Guess we'll all go out with a Tribe win over the Reds, and with the Indians having the best record in all of baseball as one of our final earthly memories. lol
