I must say i rencetly bought COD Black Opts and I must say i am very disappointed....what an absolute piece of garbage.

The campaign was good, but the online is just downright awful....its terrible....i have never seen such a god awful online in my life...the hit registration is just downright atrocious....i have never seen the like of any FPS in my life.

Trust me its not my connection either,.. i have a ping under 40 ms, I have a download speed over 15+MB, I have an upload speed a little over 5 MB

I know its not my connection because in Modern Warfare 2, the same shots actually register and kill the dude....in Black Ops your lucky if the hits even register half of the time...i mean give me a break i sneak up behind a guy, put 2 bursts with an m-16 right into his back in the killzone from less then 10m (game distance) away and the shots down even register till the 3rd burst and i get killed....i mean this is just pathetic.

I know for a fact its not my connection because the same shots MW2 actually register and kill the guy....fact is due to this terrible "hit detection" that has been known about for over a year...go youtube it...http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=hit+registration+in+black+ops+sucks&aq=f

theres a start...what is happening in those videos happens to me more times then i cna count playing it online for only 3 days...in MW2 if myself and another player both spot each other at the same time...im good enough that i kill him 6 out of 10 times...if i see him first, hes a duster on MW2...in Black ops...evne if i see him first and fire first...it don't matter....half the time the shots that are hitting him directly in the body mind you...they don't register....that makes the game unplayable....I have a 4 bar great green connection to Xbox Live...I have actually replayed and watched these games via theater and its even more infuriating to watch my shots not register at all even when i clearly have the sights aim right now the middle of the guys chest and it shows me firing first...


I would be cool with it, if it didn't happen all the time...but its frequent in this game....not to mention though it will register hits to shots that don't even hit you....i just finished rewatching a game where i was killed 6 times in a game by shots that NEVER EVEN HIT ME....they were wide left and wide right...no real logic to them at all.....

Now i see why my buddy told me this game stinks and he returned it....I will deal with people spamming noobtubes and running around with marathon + commando + Ninja with Tactical knife and quickscoping over this nonsense...i thought that was cheap but i can deal with that...at least they actually die when you shoot them and the hits actually register.

This is a shame....but Activision should never let Treyarch ever touch another COD game...this game is worse then WAW which was terrible.

Infinity Ward has made all the COD games that were any good....

I am getting rid of Black Ops as soon as possible trading it for something like Halo Reach or Battlefield BC2....this game is just terrible...the hit detection is worse then a 2 year old shooting a pop gun....I have never seen a game with such god awful hit detection, and i have played quite a few FPS in my lifetime....this game also lags alot more then MW2 or other FPS...buts its the hit detection that ruins it.

i will also add i have gotten my fair share of "cheap kills" i shoot someone and i know i didn't hit them, yet they die and i say to my self "really...are you serious..." thats just sad.

So yeah....another Treyarch failure...i will never buy another COD game they make...i should have learned my lesson after WAW....if you want a good COD games...its gotta be Infinity Ward....thank goodness MW3 is being made (in part)by Infinity Ward and it will be 3 times the game Black Ops is...

So ASAP im trading Black Ops and getting Battlefield Bad Company 2...thats what everyone who like me is ticked off about the garbage aspects of Black Ops online has went...

MW2 had its fair share of hackers going on, don't get me wrong...all games do...but my goodness....at least the hit detection in MW2 actually works right...when you shoot someone dead on at least it actually kills the guy 95% of the time(minus the few times due to someone lagging the game) can't say the same for black ops.....sad really because i really liked the campaign...but the multiplayer is rubbish...

sorry i had to get this rant out...im just dissappointed in a game that should have been decent.

I still play Bad Company 1 on PS3. Love it. Can't wait for Battlefield 3 to come out.

I don't mind Black Ops all that much, but it's nowhere near the beast that i MW2. The zombies are always great though, an no different this time.

I'm glad my nephew bought it and let me try it out. Zombie mode is cool, but the rest of the game was trash. Only reason so many people bought/play it is because of the name on the cover in front of "Black Ops".

I learned my lesson from World at War. I'll get Black Ops for occasional Zombie fun with my newphew/brother when it hits the discount bin.

Anything but Modern Warfare in this series is GARBAGE

I refuse to play COD games online. I played through the campaign on MW2 and Black Ops when I borrowed them from my brother, but COD online sucks.

I play Battlefield BC2 and only online. Owned it since it came out and have never touched the campaign.

I was gonna make a topic about this the other day, but I figure just post in here since it's related.

What do you guys think of this COD Elite?

I read an article the other day, it was pretty short, so correct me if I'm wrong.

It's a service that will be brought on alongside MW3 in november. It is a pay service. Apparently it will be cheaper than the 50 bucks you fork over for XBL every year.

However, you won't have to pay for any DLC including map packs, and it will bring together a single profile for you on any COD game, whether it be modern warfare or world at war.

Don't panic though, you can still buy the game and play online like you do now, you don't need to pay for this to play the game, which I think is a very smart idea, but I think the idea of fixing in the map packs into the price is going to make me consider it.

For me, I don't play anything else online, most of my games are offline. Sports games I just do my seasons. RPG games and sandbox games take up the rest of my video game playing time.

I think if it were a small fee every year, 20-25 bucks. I'd probably do it.

If you think about it, you're dropping 15 per map pack and if you remember, MW2 had 2 map packs.

No doubt MW2 was far and away better, but don't waste your time with Halo Reach. I bought it and played for about 1 hour before I listed it on Ebay. Nothing like unloading a whole clip into a dude only to have him come up and melee you.

I am talking about multiplayer. The campaign never interested me for some reason, maybe the whole "space" thing, I dunno.

Battlefield crushes COD in so many ways.

Destructible environments, alot more vehicles, teams are broken down into squads, huge maps help to eliminate the rambo spray n' prayers that you see in cod with sub machine guns. As for the noob toob? Well that's something that will be tormenting players in FPS for all eternity.

I wasted many many productive hours of my life playing Black Ops and I loved it.

I will say though that Battlefield BC2 is a much better war game experience. I love all the vehicles and the maps are great.

B:BC1 had a noob tube of sorts, the NS2000 shotgun (referred to as the "no-skill 2000").

The UB GL was not a noob tube, though, as they made you hit something other than the player with the round and do splash damage. The hit wouldn't register on the player, only the ground or the wall, etc. Also, max damage was 98 from it.

It did have it's share of problems, though... something called quickscoping that some sniper turds would do that allowed them to get an accurate shot without lining it up in the scope. Also, there was a problem with hit detection while the players were moving while crouched. Outside of that, a really solid game.

COD BO map pack will be on the store June 10 per the PS Blog today.

For B:BC2, does the Ultimate Edition come with anything you can't unlock or download from the store?

What are the things you'd have to buy from the store in the original?

The Best thing about the Black Ops commercial other than the great song was Jimmy Kimmel falling backwards as he fired a noob toob that read " Proud Noob " loved that part.

Kobe used one too, with no shame.

I personally love Black Ops, my daughter and me have spent hours playing it, her combat training me the team deathmatch, sure there are times I call BS, but I still love it.

One game I always thought was great was the first rainbow six vegas for Ps3. I wonder if I still have that game because the single player and online modes were excellent. I didn't check out rainbow six vegas 2, was it any good?

Heard it wasn't that great. I thought the first one was fun.

Rainbow 6 vegas 2 was garbage compaired to 1. I use to play 1 for hrs on end but 2 came out and it sucked. IDK what they did different but it just wasnt the same. I never use to play FPS games online just sports games but played Far Cry online and have been hooked ever since. I personally love Black ops but the only COD i have hated is WAW and that was because of the guns nothing else. Cant wait for MW3. Any xbox 360 users want to add me it's redace06.

Also, if you are buying the game used dont buy the Ultimate Edition if it costs more,thw VIP code is only good once and it is already used in a used version and you will have to re purchase anyways

I liked it, but it only lasted a month and a half before I grew tired of it. 5 maps and they aren't making any new ones for it.

It would've been better if servers could have somehow mixed in Vietnam maps with BC2 vanilla, but you have to play one or the other.

The COD games would have been a lot better for me if they would have had some dinosaurs.....

Thanks for the info guys, just bought B:BC2 Ultimate yesterday. I'll try and crack it open tomorrow!

Fired up B:BC2 yesterday... wow, it has a pretty different feel from the first one. No "hit" indicator makes it tougher to mow guys down, but feels... i don't know... more realistic? I like that they retained/updated some of the maps from the first one so I don't feel totally lost. Looking forward to squadding up with some DTers soon!

lol Id like to share some pretty simple windows software ive dug deep looking for , google was my best friend here. Basically my friends and I were looking for a way to change all of our Facebook defaults to zombies LOL and this does just that, it's incredible and very entertaining to get feedback. Some hate has come along but heyy.
